The New York Times bestselling author of Seeds of Deception returns with a story of orchard owner Meg and the search for a poisoner.

The usually quiet town of Granford, Massachusetts, is even drowsier during the colder months. But this year it’s in for a jolt when Monica Whitman moves into town. She’s a dynamo who wants to make friends fast in her new home, and she throws herself into community activities. Meg Corey, now Chapin after her marriage to Seth Chapin, is intrigued by the new arrival, who has already sold the town board on a new, fun way to bring in visitors during the off-season: WinterFare, which will feature local foods (such as Meg’s apples) and crafts, as well as entertainment.

Tragically, Monica falls ill and dies after the event in what looks like a case of food poisoning. When all the food served at WinterFare has been tested, including Meg’s apples, it becomes clear that there’s a more sinister explanation to the older woman’s sudden demise.

Meg’s investigation uncovers a bushel of potential suspects, one of whom is rotten to the core.
In the latest Library Lover’s Mystery from the New York Times bestselling author of A Likely Story, a decades overdue book puts library director Lindsey Norris hot on the trail of a cold case...
But one tardy tome catches her attention—a copy of J. D. Salinger’s The Catcher in the Rye, twenty years past due.
Candice checked out the novel on the day she was murdered. Now Lindsey wonders if it could provide a clue to the decades-old cold case. Lindsey is determined to catch the culprit one way or another, because justice for Candice Whitley is long overdue...
It was a real joy to get to spend time with her again. I love Jake, but his ex drives me crazy. The band and it's members were something else, great characters. Candy also made this another fun to solve mystery in a series that I highly recommend. I read it in one sitting and now I'm waiting for the next part eagerly.
The Winter Market in the French Quarter is in full swing, but murder isn’t taking a holiday in the latest from the New York Times bestselling author of Parchment and Old Lace...

The holidays are a busy time for scrapbook shop owner Carmela Bertrand—but not so hectic that she doesn’t have time to enjoy browsing the booths at the Winter Market with her best friend Ava. The last thing the ladies expect to see is a thrashing man stabbed by a serving fork, dying in front of them.

The victim is loathed restaurant critic Martin Lash, who posted his scathing reviews on the Glutton for Punishment website. And the prime suspect is New Orleans restauranteur Quigg Brevard—who was seen giving the critic a tongue-lashing minutes before someone stuck a fork in him. An old flame of Carmela, Quigg asks for her help, which does not please her current beau, Detective Edgar Babcock, to say the least.

Before her relationship is the next victim, Carmela needs to find a murderer who had no reservations about punishing the culinary curmudgeon...

The New York Times bestselling author of the Cat in the Stacks Mysteries and Digging Up the Dirt returns with the latest Southern Ladies Mystery...

It’s autumn down south, and An'gel and Dickce Ducote are in Natchez, Mississippi, at the request of Mary Turner Catlin, the granddaughter of an old friend. Mary and her husband, Henry Howard, live in Cliffwood, one of the beautiful antebellum homes for which Natchez is famous.

Odd things have been happening in the house for years, and the French Room in particular has become the focal point for spooky sensations. The Ducotes suspect the ghostly goings-on are caused by the living, but when a relative of the Catlins is found dead in the room, An'gel and Dickce must sift through a haunted family history to catch a killer.
The first thing I did after finishing reading it was grab a copy of part one. I really love anything that hints at paranormal, so when I saw that this had that theme I grew excited. I was so happy that once I started I realized I was in for so much more than just a theme. The tone is perfect for the time frame it is set in, a setting that is richly detailed and easy to imagine. I would stay at the hotel! The characters are awesome and well rounded. I felt a connection with several and am truly excited to see where this series goes. There is a reason it has been so long lived. I mean really, twenty fabulous parts, and they are all fabulous. I love the settings, the characters and the mystery never fails to engage me. I read this one as slowly as I could, though if I am honest, it wasn't very slow, because the story was a page turner as usual. If you haven't started this series, I recommend them all. This part has just released in a mass market paperback, a format I adore.
I'm not a great cook, so I could easily use a service like that. At any rate, the newest part, Pudding Up With Murder, was such a joy to read. Lilah has a real hard mystery on her hands when the patriarch or a very strange family dies mysteriously. I really loved the family members, though not all were lovable they were all certainly unique. I also thoroughly enjoyed puzzling over the mystery.
I've been enamored with the magical Cats series since the first time I entered it, albeit late, I've since caught up and now wait eagerly for each new part. Imagine how delighted I was to see A Tale of Two Kitties in a gorgeous hardback! The excitement carried as I cracked it opened and sunk into another tale with Hercules, Owen, and Kathleen. This installment had a lot going on and we were given some history of loves and losses in the past in Mayville Heights. It was a fascinating read that kept me thinking and solving to the very end. My only regret is that I've read it too fast and now I have to start my wait for the next part. I do hope the wait won't be too long.
There is a style and charm to this series that isn't found elsewhere. Plus, there is Jessica, who is the quintessential cozy heroine. This installment which will become available in trade paperback tomorrow has a fun backdrop, a fishing competition. As usual, the story has more going on than a murder, and more suspects to consider. I figured out some aspects and not others, but I loved every second of my latest visit with Jessica Fletcher.

Yet when Jepson breaks out of prison vowing revenge, and the lawyer for both men is found murdered, Cabot Cove becomes the focus of the nation as local, state, and federal authorities descend on Jessica’s hometown.

Lady Georgiana Rannoch knows nothing is simple when you’re thirty-fifth in line for the British crown, but her upcoming marriage proves to be the ultimate complication in the tenth mystery in the New York Times bestselling Royal Spyness series.

As Lady Georgiana's beloved Darcy drives her out of London, she soon discovers that he isn’t planning to introduce her to the pleasures of sinning in secret—as she had hoped—but to make her his wife!

Of course, she'll need special permission from the king to marry a Roman Catholic. Though he will inherit a title, Darcy is as broke as Georgie. Even his family’s Irish castle has been sold to a rich American who now employs his father.

Nothing will deter them from their mission—except perhaps the news that Georgie's future father-in-law has just been arrested for murdering the rich American. With the elopement postponed, they head for Ireland, where the suspect insists he’s innocent, and it’s up to them to prove it—for better or worse.
It’s no secret around Proper City, Nevada, that the Sagebrush Festival, the town’s annual family-friendly event, is the place to be. This year’s theme of board games has everything from Conspiracy to Clue. Margo Tamblyn’s costume shop, Disguise DeLimit, has been tasked with providing costumes for the festival headliner, the Domino Divas. But on the night of the performance, one fallen Domino threatens to bring down the whole show when head dancer Ronnie Cass is found in her dressing room, unmasked, unprepared, and very, very dead.

As the police investigate, Margo learns that Don Digby, her father's best friend, is the prime suspect, tied to the victim by an unsolved robbery connected to Proper City’s past.

Years ago, the serenity of picturesque Orchard, Massachusetts, was shattered by a fire that destroyed the town's beloved clock tower.

A crowd of residents and visitors are excited to see the progress of the tower at a fund-raiser for the campaign, until Kim is found crushed under the tower’s bell, putting an end to all the fun.
