Snack Better With Beanfields Plus a Giveaway
A lot of people associate eating food that is better for them with eating food that isn't as nice tasting. While I admit it can be true with some things, it really doesn't have to be the case. I have some wonderful tasting chips to tell you about which are also better for you than the average chip.
The first thing I love about Beanfields is that it is family owned, and farmed and made in the USA! I also love that they are all natural, corn free, gluten free, vegan, and NON GMO certified. Compared to most tortilla chips they have twice the protein and fiber but with lest fat and they are free of the 8 most common food allergies. That is a lot of wonderful qualities.
One of my biggest weaknesses when it comes to snacking is chips, most especially tortilla chips. With Beanfields I am getting more than empty snacking calories when I indulge, I am getting protein and fiber that will make my snack stick with me longer and add some nutritional value that is often lacking in tortilla chips.
But how does is taste? It is a unique taste to any tortillas I have ever had. As a part of out regular diet we have beans and rice pretty frequently, because we love how they complement each other. It’s that complement of favor that is as the base of these great chips. They are offered in five great varieties, all of which were a hit with both me an my husband.
Up first we tried the Unsalted with some roasted tomato salsa and it was absolutely divine. I was surprised by how tasty these were considering they were totally unflavored. They are nice enough that you could eat them without any dips.
The Sea Salt flavor is the same as the unsalted but with a nice amount of sea salt. We had these with a nacho type of dip and loved the flavor. You can actually taste the beans and rice as separate flavors.
Salt N’ Pepper was my husband's favorite. He really enjoys pepper on a lot of things, especially on beans and rice. I really liked these as well and we both agreed there was no dip needed to enjoy them.
Pico De Gallo was my personal favorite. I’m a huge fan of flavored tortilla chips and these rank way up there on my all time favorite unique flavor list.
We saved the Nacho for last because we both knew we would love them and I’m not ashamed to say we ate the who bag in one sitting.
If you are like us, trying to find snacks that fit into a healthier lifestyle, I really recommend you give these a try. I think you will be pleasantly surprised by just how nice better for you can taste.
If you would like to learn more or purchase some for yourself please visit the website and browse the wonderful varieties of these unique bean and rice chips. You can also connect with Beanfields on Facebook and Twitter.
