Monthly boxes are loads of fun. I always like the mystery every month, and the chance to try new things before I decide if I want to by them. While I always feel especially spoiled when I get a box, I also like to spoil my dogs, as you well know, and a monthly box is perfect for that.
Paw Box gives me the chance to try five new things to see how my dogs like them. Each month there is a different selection of quality samples and some full size products as well. In this month’s box my babies were able to try:
Fresh Dog Oatmeal Shampoo, which is a most wonderful smelling dog shampoo. It has the sweet scent of almonds, which sure beats how my dogs usually smell. This is a moisturizing shampoo made with natural oatmeal, sweet almond oil, coconut and Echinacea. The aromas work to calm and sooth while you clean your dogs. I like that because a few of my dogs have bath-time anxiety.
It also had Earth Rated PoopBags in a green dispenser. These are neat little bags that help you to keep clean when you are walking your dogs at the park or around the neighborhood and they decide they need a potty. It has a Velcro part so that you can attach it to your wrist or the dog leash and there is a place on the dispenser to hold bags that are used until you can get to a place to dispose of them. A really nice touch is that the bags are fragranced to help with any unpleasant odors.
Merrick Grammy’s Pot Pie Sausage was Cleo’s favorite in the whole box. I loved that it was made with locally sourced farm fresh ingredients, but Cleo loved how it tasted. It was evident because in spite of it being a good size and feeling very chewy she made pretty fast work of it.
The Halo Spot Chews, Mint and Pumpkin flavor was Patches' favorite. I love that it has good, natural ingredients and that it was able to last a fair while with my biggest dog. Patches chewed on it for a few hours before she decided to finish it off. Having four dogs usually means they don’t like to leave chews laying around.
The toy of the month was a squeaky Nature Boy Amazing Dog Toy. It is shaped like an ice cream treat with a bite missing. The dogs had a lot of fun making noise but the best part was when my mom walked in and got startled by me leaving an ice cream on the floor!
Paw Box is available for cats and dogs and is a great value at only $10 a box, which includes shipping. There is no minimum commitment to make either! Please visit the Paw Box site for more details and to sign up! You can also connect with Paw Box on Facebook and Twitter.
