Popware For Pets Solves All Of My Pet Travel Issues

I love to go places and see new things. I enjoy everything from roadside oddities to fancy resorts, weekend trips to week long trips. What I don’t like is leaving my furry kids behind at the house. However, traveling with pets can present a lot of challenges and I want my babies to be as comfy on the road as they are at home.

Popware For Pets from Dexas solves every problem I have ever faced with my babies on the road, and a few at home too! They have a wonderful line of innovative, easy to use, and stylish pet items that are perfect for travel and everyday use. I've been trying many of them and couldn't be happier!

My favorite is something that is just awesome for treat time. You all know I love to spoil the babies and that I have four dogs, which means I usually end up with a pocket full of treats when we head out to play and I usually come back inside with a pocket full of crumbs! The Pooch Pouch is a nice size treat container that clips right on to your belt or pants. I was able to get all sizes of treats inside, it was even roomy enough to hold their basted bones! They now recognize this pouch, and as you can see from the pictures when I put it on and start to fill it up, I have their attention! It is really easy to use too. It stays closed and you just gently press the sides to hold it opened. Another bonus, it’s dishwasher safe!

The Collapsible KlipScoop is another super cool item. It has multiple uses such as being a food scoop, which collapses when not in use. It also serves as a measuring cup so that you can make sure you are giving your furry kids the right amount of food. To use it you just press the bowl out and when you are done just press it back together. It also has a clip on it so that you can store it easily on the bag and it will work like a chip clip does to keep the bag closed and the food fresh. These are available in three sizes to meet the needs of various size pets. They are BPA free and dishwasher safe!

We recently took the dogs to the lake and while you might think them needing a drink at the lake would be easily solved you’d be wrong. Only Patches will get near the lake water, the rest of the dogs are a bit sacred and they certainly don’t trust it enough to drink from. We tried two different solutions for water. One was the Collapsible Travel Cup, which when popped out holds two cups of water. It has a quick release clip that will easy snap on your leash or backpack. This was perfect for the lake since they have a water fountain and I was easily able to provide the dogs with fresh cold water.

There isn't always a water fountain when we are out. In fact, that same lake has trails we like to hike and as you might imagine it is hot and we all get thirsty. For those time Dexas has the Collapsible Travel Cup With Bottle Holder. This one has a one cup capacity and in addition to the convenient clip it also has an opening to attach a bottle of water! This is such a smart design. I can see using this one a lot for everything from long trips to quick runs to the park. It so easy and light weight and gives me a guarantee that no matter where we go the babies will have water.

When we are going to be gone longer than a few hours the need to find a way to easily feed the dogs arises. For that we also tried two solutions. The Adjustable Pet Feeder is an awesome design that adjusts from 8 to 13 inches and has two pop out bowls so you can give them food and water. I love how it folds flat and will take up virtually no room while traveling. This is such a great solution to dragging your standard bowls with you. I had it set up in a just a few minutes after I realized I could use the eraser end of pencil to release the buttons. The fact that this is adjustable makes it a great bowl to grow with your pet or if, like me, you have dogs in several height ranges.

I also tried the Single Elevated Pet Bowl which I found even easier to set up. The legs on this one just fold right under it. It has a four cup capacity and can be used for water or food. Did I mention these are dishwasher safe? How cool is that? I think due to the ease of set up and take down this would have to be my favorite of the food bowls!

While you are in the hotel or even at home, if you have sloppy dogs like me then you will want to try the Gripp Mat which has spill proof boarders. It has little nibs all over to keep the bowls in place. It can be amusing to watch mine as they push their bowls around on the floor trying to get the last bite but they don’t have to struggle with this.

Dexas really has though of everything when it comes to portable pet feeding solutions. To find out more about the great line they offer please visit the Dexas website. You can also connect with them on Facebook and Pinterest
