I recently, very recently, as in the last few weeks found out that I have high blood pressure and a rapid heart rate. Sadly that means I needed to start taking a new medication.  My doctor has asked that I monitor how effective it is. In order to do so I needed a reliable, easy to use blood pressure monitor. 

The Ozeri CardioTech Premium Series BP3T Digital Arm Blood Pressure Monitor with Intelligent Hypertension Indicator ended up being exactly what I needed. It is very portable and super easy to use with a one step operation. The deflation and inflation are fully automatic. 

I love that it stores up to 120 readings and will store for two users, that way if my husband ever has to use it we can keep our readings separate.  It also calculates your average blood pressure, which is  a neat feature, and lets you know if you have an irregular heartbeat. It puts a clock, date and time stamp on each reading for you so that you can easily go back to see when your had which reading. 

To get started you need to install 4 AAA bateries which are included, and it also has the ability to be used with an AC adaptor. Once you have the batteries installed you can set the date and time, which is super easy and only takes a minute. Next you insert the arm cuff plug into the machine and put the cuff around your arm.

When you press the start/stop button it will automatically inflate and start checking your blood pressure. It was very fast and did get too tight like some of them can. When it is done it automatically displays and saves your results. As you can see my medicine is starting work, pulse rate is still a bit high for resting but I’m working on that.

Over all this is probably one of the easiest blood pressure monitors I have tried. I love how portable and simple it is to use. It also comes with it’s own little bag, that has a handle, to keep it all together and make it easy for travel.
