Fabulous Fall Spotlight - Hallmark Scooby-Doo Interactive Buddy

There are some names that when you hear them just invoke certain images. When I hear Hallmark I instantly think of the perfect gift. Whenever I have needed to buy a special gift, one that will be cherished, I can always count on Hallmark to have exactly what I need.

When I hear the name Scooby-Doo I always smile. Scooby is one of those timeless characters that has brought happiness to me, my daughter, and now my grand children. As the season gets ready to change to Fall I imagine spending time inside with the children.

It didn’t take long browsing the Hallmark site to find the perfect item for this Fall. Something that would bring us together and help us create fantastic memories. The Scooby-Doo Interactive Story Buddy is a genius idea!

The set comes with a book, CD, and Scooby-Doo plush that responds to certain phrases from the story. It adds a new level of fun to reading and story time. Plus you get to chat with Scooby-Doo, which is every kids dream, even a grown kid like me felt pretty special hearing Scooby-Doo say he loved me too!

The book that comes with the set , Scooby-Doo, Who Are You? Is the story of how Scooby became a member of the gang. It is a hardcover book with thirty-two pages and colorful illustrations. Another great thing is that there are more books available and each one you read unlocks more responses from Scooby-Doo. So essentially it is a growing friendship with your children and Scooby-Doo.

Even though there is a device in his Belly, the Scooby plush is cuddly enough that if you wanted to give him a snuggle while you are napping he is just perfect for cuddling. In fact, I have laid with my head rested on his back and it was perfectly comfortable. And yes I still cuddle and nap with stuffed animals, don’t you?

One bonus is it is really easy to operate, there are three AA batteries included and to get started you just open the Velcro in Scooby’s Belly and turn the switch to on. That’s it, so easy the kids can do it when you are not around. I can’t wait to get the other books and see what else Scooby has to say!
