Guylian Belgian Chocolates Review & Giveaway

I am a chocolate lover. My husband and I both deeply appreciate a fine silky piece of chocolate that you can savor. We also really love truffles, so you might imagine we were pretty excited to be given the chance to try a sampling of Guylian’s Belgian Chocolates.

The first thing we tried was the original sea horse chocolate which is a combination of swirled milk, white, and dark chocolates. I have never had Guylian before this and now I wish I had tried it sooner. These original truffles were like little pieces of heaven. My husband and I would break one in half and just sit quietly savoring it slowly and then have the second half because you really do want to take your time with a chocolate that is this silky smooth.

Next we tried the dark chocolate truffles. My husband was totally in love with these because he prefers dark chocolate. Just like the original these have a lovely chocolate outside with a delicious truffle filling inside. They were just a silky, smooth and decadent as the original variety. We enjoyed them the same way as well, in two wonderful slowly savored pieces.

The last variety of truffle we tried was the vanilla cream filled limited edition. I was a bit skeptical about these after having been so in love with the hazelnut filling in the others but knowing the quality I was certainly ready to try them. It was really a beautiful smooth subtle vanilla flavor that blended perfect with the chocolate outside.

We also tried two chocolate bars the Guylian No Sugar Added Milk Chocolate Bar and the Guylian No Sugar Added Dark Chocolate Bar. I was really surprise by how awesome this was considering there was no sugar added.


One thing I want to mention is that these chocolates look like little pieces of artwork. These would be absolutely perfect for a display piece when you are having an elegant party. They really are that gorgeous. The marbling of the chocolate on the outside is really a lovely touch. Everything from the look to the taste speaks of the care that goes into making these fine chocolates.
