Jollys Garden Clogs

Have you ever heard of garden clogs? As soon as I heard about them I knew I needed a pair. The need goes beyond my shoes obsession, which I fully admit to. I mean seriously how awesome is  a beautiful pair of clogs that you can wear outside, in the dirt, rain and puddles and be able rinse or wipe clean?

I am not a gardener, I leave that to my husband because digging in the dirt with bugs doesn’t appeal to me at all. However I do like to get outside and roughhouse with dogs, dance in the rain and of course I do volunteer at the storm shelter, which always ends with me walking through puddles and mud. So as you might imagine I was excited by the idea of durable waterproof shoes.

Jollys has been making fabulous trendy all weather shoes for over twenty five years. Their shoes are manufactured in Germany from one hundred percent CFC-free polyurethane foam. The shoes themselves are light, waterproof, and flexible.  Plus these shoes are sturdy, I would venture to guess I will never need to replace them.

The insoles, which are removable, are molded of natural cork and latex that is covered with a cotton cloth.  This is the only part of the shoe that will wear out after prolonged use and you can get replacements if needed. The insoles can be washed in the washing machine as needed. To clean the rest of the shoe you just rinse it with water! 

They come in men’s and women’s, shoes, and clogs, and they offer a lovely range of shades and even picture clogs. The main difference between the shoes and clogs is that the shoes are closed in the back and the clogs opened. The clogs I picked were from the picture clog styles. I fell in love with the abstract picture instantly. 

When they arrived I was so excited by how lovely the design is in person. It is so vibrant and colorful. The shoes are really comfy and the easy slip on slip off makes them a go to pair when I need to dash out the door with the dogs or when I need to head out in the rain. Since they also come in men’s designs I think a pair for my husband is in order next. I might even order him one if the neat knee pads they offer for gardening.
