Fair Treasure Subscription Box

Fair Treasure is a beautiful subscription box that sends you ethically sourced treasures. When you buy artisan from ethical sources that really does help those who made them have a brighter future. Every month the Fair Treasure box contains at least $30 of wonderful special things like home goods, jewelry, and accessories.

The first thing I love is that it was presented like a treasure. Inside the main box was nesting and one of the items was boxed so it was like opening a present. Another was in a cute bag. I really like a pretty presentation. Plus even though nothing in the box had a scent there was a lovely smell when I opened the box that lingered in the air. It helped to feel like I was opening treasures!

The first item was from Indika Imports. They work with artisans to focus on sustainability and ecological awareness and self sustainability. The item was Elephant Gift Tags. These are very pretty and will add a beautiful touch to any gift. I love the vivid bold colors and the stunning detailed designs.

Mata Traders is the leading advocate for exploited artisans, making sure their workers receive living wages, and have good work conditions. They also help artisans in forming co-ops to band together to prevent exploitation of the workers. The Brass Chevron Necklace from them is a huge brass statement necklace that is gorgeous. It's the very popular chevron pattern with three big chevrons hung together in the front.

Acacia Creations works to create jobs and give back to the community. Mutuku has been working with olive wood in Royal Kenya his entire life. I also love that Acacia's olive wood pieces are hand carved from wood from fallen trees. From Acacia Creations was an Olive Wood Pinch Pot. The bowl was fabulous and I love that it was hand crafted. This would make a great bowl for keeping little treasures on your nightstand. Or since it also has an adorable little spoon it would be great for keeping your bath salts in. It’s a wonderful piece that I am honored to have.

I really enjoyed this box and simply love that all of the items are handcrafted one of a kind treasures, that I know were ethically sourced. To find out more and to sign up for your own Fair Treasure box please visit the Fair Treasure Site. You can also connect with them on Facebook and Twitter.

Disclosure: I may receive products in exchange for an honest review. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I personally believe will be good for my readers.
