Flicker Box

I love candles! There is something comforting about the warm glow of the flickering flame and the beautiful scents they come in now make it hard to have enough! When I look for a good quality candle I tend to seek out something handmade or eco friendly and it can be hard to find a good brand. Flicker Box is the perfect solution!  Each month they send you a lovely selection of high quality candles, introducing you to new scents and companies. In the box I received there were four candles! 

The first one was from a company called Soap For Your Soul. The owners, Mike and Emily, handcraft soaps and candles together in South Carolina. The candles are made from soy wax and have no additives, or dyes. The scent I received was called Forest and will be perfect for the holiday season.  The scent is powerful enough to fill a room and it is long lasting. The candle comes in a metal tin with a lid, which I love because my house seems to attract a crazy amount of dust, so the lid will keep the candle fresh and dust free!

Sunbeam Candles are really unique in that they are made using solar power! They are handmade in upstate New York. They are eco-friendly and non toxic. The scent I received is Cypress, Fir, Spruce and Pine. I really love these tree scents. They remind me of the way the house used to smell around the holiday’s when we had a real tree. The scent of this candle is more of a subtle scent intended as aromatherapy. 

Rendezvous Soy Candles are handcrafted soy candles that are 100 percent soy, soot free and toxin free. They come in a rinse and reuse container. It is a lovely ivy hobnob votive that will compliment any decor. The candle will burn for 15 hours!  It was Ivy Vine scent and the scent is very subtle. I really love that containers is not only adorable but also reusable. 

Eco Candle Co candles are handcrafted in Appleton WI. They use organic soy wax that is grown by American farmers. Their candles have natural essential oils, high-quality fragrances, and the glass containers are partially recycled. I couldn’t put my finger on the scent but it was lovely! It had an earthy, yet perfumed scent, it is was a perfume I think I would wear it! The scent is mild and plenty strong enough to freshen the room.  

I really loved my first Flicker Box! Getting to try out four new, eco-friendly candle options was awesome! Now I get to go shopping for my next scents because I know that I love the quality.
