Lip Factory

Hello ladies, I have another wonderful beauty box to tell you about! This one is called Lip Factory and while it contains general beauty and makeup items the focus, as you may have guessed, is on lip products. That is pretty fabulous for a girl like me who will not leave the house without something on her lips. I mean lets face it, even when you feel icky and don’t do your makeup you have to throw on some gloss at least! I received a September box and the theme was “Define Your Style of Beauty”.

The ModelCo’s Shine Ultra Lip Gloss, which is a fabulous gloss that is listed on ModelCo’s site for $16. I received the color “Sugar Plum.” Which is a nice lighter shade that adds just a hint of color but lots of sparkle! One thing I really love is it has a little mirror on the side of the gloss, so you can keep this in your purse and touch up anywhere. It has a sweet odor and goes on nice and smooth without being too heavy or sticky.

The Bombshell Cosmetics Lip Gloss which is another wonderful gloss that is listed on Bombshell’s site for $14. I received the color “Sangria,” which is a slightly sparkly red wine color. It has a bit more color than the first lip gloss and would be perfect for a more dramatic look. I really love the sparkles and this is very much a shade I would wear on a regular basis!

Also from Bombshell was a Cosmetics Eyeliner, listed on their site for $14. I received the color “Midnight.” This eyeliner had a tip like a marker and was pretty new to me. While the shade is called midnight it is not a deep black but that rather a purple/blue type color. I’m not very good with this type of eyeliner so I am looking forward to getting in some practice.

The Absolute Oil Blotting Tissues, which are listed on their site for $3 are really neat. There were 50 tissues in package. They are green tea scented and it is a very light fresh scent. I do have a bit of an oil issue as the day wears on and with these tissues you can clear off the oil without taking off your makeup! That is awesome.

The LA Fresh Waterproof Makeup Remover Wipes included in the September box were 2 sample packets, each valued at $1. In my box I also received a package of 24 wipes, valued at $9.99. I use makeup wipes everyday before I wash my face to get off all of the harder to remove makeup and I really love that these are made to handle waterproof makeup. They have a fresh lavender scent and are alcohol free. They have a 6 oil blend of olive, jojoba, sesame, grape seed, vitamin E, and lavender. They are also biodegradable which is a wonderful bonus for me.

The JCat Beauty The Big Eye Pencil which is listed their site for $3.49 is a really neat eye item. I received the color “charcoal,” which is a creamy brown shade, perfect for the brown smokey eye I like to wear. It goes on very creamy and has a lot of pigment. Lip Factory also included as a bonus a jumbo eye pencil sharpener, which was sweet because I didn’t have one. This one will work for two sizes and fits all of the liners and brow pencils I have.

Also as a new subscriber bonus I received Essence eye shadow, which I have seen at Ulta for $2.50! The shade I received was a lovely green called “Forest Fairies.” It has a beauty sparkly finish to it as well. It has great pigment and staying power.

Isn’t this a fabulous box of beauty goodies? The best part is it is a super value for only $22/month for U.S. subscribers and no charge for shipping. You will noticed my box was a $65 value! If you are in Canada it is $26/month which includes a $4 shipping charge. Plus $32/month for all other international subscribers which includes $10 shipping charge. And you can really feel good about purchasing from them because as of September 2013, they are donating a percentage of each box sold to the Compassionate Hands and Hearts Breast Cancer Outreach. To sign up and get full details please visit the Lip Factory site. You can also connect with them on Facebook and Twitter.

Disclosure: I may receive products in exchange for an honest review. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I personally believe will be good for my readers.
