I love Fall. I love the food, weather, fashions and especially the make-up colors. You might remember last month I told about a great make-up subscription service called Lip Factory that focuses mostly on lip products. Well I have my second box, the Welcome to Fall October box and it is just as fabulous!
On top was two packets, one of which was the Alcone Make-Off. These wipes are awesome for the waterproof make-ups that you would otherwise have a hard time removing. They are a soft cloth, that uses a mild remover, which rinses clean. They are perfect for travel or at work, where ever you need to remove make-up but can’t really wash your face.
The other packet was the Befine Warming Clay Mask Packette. This is a neat mask you can use twice a week to detox and keep your skin looking fresh. It actually warms when you apply it, that was very neat. I also love that is uses allergen free fragrance, is paraben free, and uses vegetarian proteins.
Have you ever used a cake eyeliner? I have not but included was Michael Marcus Cake Eyeliner in a lovely shade of green called Fantasia. I am going to need some practice with this but I love that it dries flake free and is smudge resistant.
The Palladio Beauty Baked Blush in berry is a lovely shimmery blush. I usually use a flat blush with no shimmer but I am actually quite impressed with what the light shimmer added to the overall look and have added this to my everyday make-up bag.
Also from Michael Marcus was some fabulous lip gloss in a red shade called romance. For a gloss it had nice coverage and some shimmer to it. It is very rich and creamy but I was so totally impressed with the amount of color.
I’ve been using a lot of ‘age’ related products since my big 40 is coming and I was happy to see the Dew Grape Seed Age Protecting lip gloss. The shade Lay it Down Cab is an awesome sparkly red. I loved the amount of sparkle and again the color was super for a gloss. It has anti-oxidants to help protect your lips and smoothes & moisturizes them so they look younger too. This gloss landed in my purse where it will stay for those lip gloss emergencies.
