Kalorik Artisan Hand Vacuum

Having five pets that come in and out of my house means I vacuum, dust, and have mini messes to deal with everyday, more than once a day. My biggest challenge is keeping up with hair. In spite of vacuuming so much, I can’t even count the times I spot a little fluff pile and have to drag out a vacuum or the dust pan and broom. I have often considered a hand vacuum but really didn't want another appliance to find a place for.

When I saw the Kalorik Artisan Hand Vacuum I was instantly in love because this looks nice. It is not an appliance you have to hide. The vacuum fits into the charging base in a way that it looks very much like a decorative piece rather than something functional. The artsy design looks nice on a shelf, like I have it, or on the floor. We picked the white color but it also comes in a red and black shade- all of which have the artsy scroll work on the base.

More important than looking nice are the features and functionality. The charging base also houses the two attachments in hidden compartments on the bottom. The attachments are a round brush, which lets you clean more delicate things like lamps and books, and there is a crevice tool that helps you get in the harder to reach places. The rechargeable battery runs for ten to twelve minutes of continuous vacuuming. Once the battery is dead, just place this unit back on the base and when you have it in right there will be a bright blue LED glow until the unit is ready for use again.

After charging it overnight it wasn’t long before I spotted the first hair clump the next day and I was so happy not to have drag out a clunky full size vacuum to get it up! I used it all day and every time it picked up my messes no problem. My cat can leave a huge mess for a cat, especially around his cat box. It can go from no mess to litter in all over the nearby carpet and on the hard floor where the box is in seconds. Rather than needing the broom and big vacuum I decided to test this vacuum on the litter mess. As  most pet owners know many vacuums just spit litter back out making the mess even worse. I am so thrilled to tell you it picked up litter!
