BrylaneHome Extra Wide Outdoor Rocking Chair

My husband and I spend a lot of time relaxing on the porch. We are blessed with lots of free time and enjoy simple pleasures. My porch was missing something for me though: a rocking chair. Now you know from past posts that my go-to shop for all household items is BrylaneHome. They always have everything I need and it is always super great quality.

I was happy to see they had a nice selection of outdoor chairs including several styles of rockers to pick from. The one I settled on was the Extra Wide Outdoor Rocking Chair. Not only did it look great but it looked like it would be very comfortable.

When it arrived I decided it was an expert-level husband build so I let Andrew build it for me. I get easily intimidated by bits and parts. At any rate, he easily had it together in no time. I love that is has a good weight capacity at 350 pounds because I often find my lap filled with dogs that are much bigger than lapdogs (don’t tell them that though!)

Plus, at 38¾"H x 27½"W x 39¾"D and 21¾"W x 17¼"D seat is 16½"H from floor there is room for me and my dogs. The actual seat is very comfortable and I can really speak to that since we have already spent many hours on the porch since it’s addition.

One of my favorite parts about it is that the material that makes up the seat is wipeable, just in case, weather or clumsiness requires you to give it a clean. I am all about easy and it couldn't be easier to care for or enjoy. I can see spending long, lazy summer days in this rocking chair, on my porch, knitting the day away.
