You will find a variety of 15 pup and kitties to choose from and instructions on everything from surface preparation and brush selection to transferring techniques and finishing. Plus, everything in between. I really loved the tips on spattering and shading. For someone like me with no real skills, it was great to see the basic ideas laid out like that.
There are projects ideas, like a tote bag and a canvas with detailed instructions and in the back of the book, there are the transfers you can print out because, like I said, I can not draw! I wish I had been feeling better sooner because the Scaredy Cats design is awesome! I will make it next Halloween for sure!

Have you tried painting before? I’d love to hear about your painting crafts. Take some time to browse Leisure Arts' great selection and make sure you also connect with Leisure Arts on Facebook and Twitter so that you never miss a special or new pattern! Also, if you sign up for their knitting or crochet newsletters, you get a free pattern on Fridays!
Disclosure: I may receive products in exchange for an honest review. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I personally believe will be good for my reader.
Now this is something I could have fun with, now if I could just squeeze in the time to actually do it.

ReplyDeleteI see a Hound Dog picture that can be painted. I think this is so adorable and being able to paint him would be awesome. I used to paint items a long time ago.

ReplyDeleteI have always thought about painting, but have never really had the courage to try. This might be a lot of fun!
