I'm back to talk to you again about adult coloring books! I can't even express how glad I am to have rediscovered my love for coloring. It has to be the single most relaxing thing I do. This week, as you will notice from the pictures, I didn't get much time to relax... these are weeks I think I need to color the most!
When I did manage to squeeze in some relaxation, I grabbed Kaleidoscope Wonders Color Art For Everyone available from Leisure Arts. I spent a fair amount of time just looking through the designs and trying to settle on which one to start with. There are 24 design pages of intricate line drawings of diverse patterns inspired by flowers, orbs, stars, mosaics, and more.
As you might expect from the Kaleidoscope theme, these are lovely detailed, and very eye-catching. The one I settled on reminded me of seashells, and when I was little girl growing up on the beach. Now that I am landlocked in Kansas, it has been a relaxing journey back to my beach days, and I am so looking forward to finding time to finish this one.
As with the other two adult coloring books I have told you about from Leisure Arts, these are printed on a 8.5 inch x 10.875 inch sheet of premium paper, which you can tell. It feels thick and sturdy. It is also printed on one side only and perforated for easy removal, so you can use whatever medium you wish (even the wetter ones) without worrying about it ruining the rest.
Have you joined the adult coloring craze? If not what are you waiting for? Head over and take some time to browse Leisure Arts' great selection and make sure you also connect with Leisure Arts on Facebook and Twitter so that you never miss a special or new pattern! Also, if you sign up for their knitting or crochet newsletters, you get a free pattern on Fridays!
Disclosure: I may receive products in exchange for an honest review. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I personally believe will be good for my readers.
