Playful & Plus Size - Hips & Curves

Spring is here, well Spring is somewhere - It’s 42 degrees here today! At any rate the stores are still filling with cute frilly and extra feminine Spring clothes. I love to look around and daydream about how awesome they would look on me, but more often than not they just don’t have the cute things in my size. It’s a story I hear from a lot of my friends who are also plus sized.

Plus size is beautiful, feminine and can be very saucy and playful. Thankfully Hips & Curves gets that! They have the most adorable plus sized lingerie and clothing which ranges in styles from modestly playful to daring and delightful. They literally have everything you need to feel and look just how you want while at play. I was fortunate to get to pick a few items from the wonderful selection.

My first pick was the Soft Cotton Bell Sleeve Dress. This dress speaks directly to my inner princess who loves all things frilly. This dress is a mix of styles from pirate to peasant and the combination really works well. It has dramatic bell sleeves, ruffles and lots of lace trim. The material is very soft and light, which also makes it very sheer and super comfortable. It lays wonderfully and the sleeves move with you dramatically. I love how versatile the look can be. You can wear it with leggings for a modest look or without the leggings if you are feeling racy or even with a corset if you are feeling really daring.

For my last pick I went with the Soft & Comfy Lace Trim Chemise. This is so soft and comfortable. It has a pretty lace trim and ruffles at the bottom for an extra fun touch. The shoulder straps are adjustable for a perfect fit. This is one of those pieces you really can’t go wrong with. It’s comfy enough to be worn everyday and playful enough to be that extra special piece that will get noticed.
