Fabulous Fall Spotlight - Oh Cheri

I am one of those adults who really does enjoy dressing up for Halloween. I’ll never forget my disappointment when I was a teenager and I was told that I had become too old for trick or treating. I am a firm believer that fun should not have an age limit and I do what makes me happy. That said I will be dressing up this year and I have the cutest costume lined up! 

I wanted to find something really fun and something I wasn’t likely to run into on the street. So I looked to a fantastic shop for dressing up, Oh Cheri. On to my fabulous costume.  I simply adore the classic costumes and horror movies so when I saw the new spin on Frankenstein I knew I needed the Girl Frankenstein Monster Costume, it was available in plus size too, which is just awesome.  The quality and attention to detail on this is really what makes it so amazing. 

The main part of the costume is a black halter dress that has a green ribbon laced up the front. The jagged green striped hem is a super fun touch too. The show stopping topper is a green monster hat with the classic Frankenstien bolts and stitch marks. The hat really is just so awesome and such a cleaver new way to add the bolt to the look. 

The trimmings include matching thigh high stockings and fingerless long gloves. They are white with black stitch marks. There are also arm bands that go at the top of the gloves for a finished look that are black with a jagged green trim to match the dress hem and tie it all together.  I topped mine off with a pair of high calf boots.
