I am a list maker, note taker, and doodler. I am also eco-conscious and often making lists and taking notes leaves me feeling a bit wasteful. I kept thinking there has to be a better way. I did make efforts to be more eco-friendly by using the backs of receipts, misprinted paper, etc to make my lists but I still needed fresh paper more often than I liked.
When I saw the Boogie Board I instantly thought, ‘YES.’ This is my answer to using too much paper. The Boogie Board is a LCD eWriter. What that means is I never have to use paper for another list again. The ease of use and simplicity of the design speaks directly to my preferences.
It comes with a stylus that you use to write with and the very first thing my husband and I noticed was that you can read what you write. You know how on the LCD screens at stores you don’t even recognize your writing? Well on the Boogie Board what you write looks like your actual handwriting. It is neat and clear. When you are ready to make a new list there is a little push button that erases the board and you are ready to start again.
It also comes with a stylus holder that clips to the top of board. The holder is multi-function too because in addition to holding the stylus, you can place it on the board in a way that it covers the erase button. That way when I toss it in my purse I don’t have to worry about the button getting bumped and my list or notes getting erased. If you want to hang it on the refrigerator it comes with four magnetic squares you can stick to the back. Another fantastic thing is that the battery it comes with never needs replacing. That is so awesome because I always seem to be running out of batteries. Plus the board is really thin and fits so easily in my purse.
I can honestly say I have used this every day since I took it out of the box. I have used it for grocery shopping every time I’ve gone. I have also taken it to the doctor with me, because I always take notes of not only what I want to ask but also of things my doctors wants me to do. He is always having me try new foods and drinks that are super foods and I have a notoriously bad memory so I need to take notes. I can see this being really useful for kids at school and kids who like to draw.
Could you use an eWritter? I recommend you visit the Boogie Board site and pick a model that is right for you. You can also connect with them on Facebook and Twitter.
