I received the August box which is geared to skin care and that is pretty timely with all the damage summer fun can do to your skin. The first two items I pulled out were sunscreen samples from Sunology. These have SPF ratings of 50! What makes these unique is that they also moisturize while they are protecting you from the sun.
There was a tinted lip balm by Cosmetics Without Synthetics. It is in the shade Raspberry, which is a really pretty red wine color that goes on light. I loved how silky it felt on my skin and I think the container is so cute.
The Virga Botanicals Nourish Organic Body Lotion has a fantastic sweet smell. I can’t place exactly what it is but it’s so sweet and the lotion feels so silky. It’s a thick creamy lotion and I like how well it absorbs, it doesn’t leave a greasy residue at all, just a nice sweet scent.
Next is the EVOLVh UltraShine Moisture Conditioner which has a great scent. It wasn’t too girly and my husband enjoyed it as well. It left our hair feeling soft and light and slightly scented. I will be getting a bottle of this for sure. I loved the scent.
The last thing I pulled out was a bottle of LVX Nail Polish in Viridian. This was a full size bottle and the shade is so unique it is much more green than it appears in the picture and I loved that it was green which goes well with the box! This nail polish is awesome because it is non-toxic. I found it made a great two coat application too.
If you are a green girl too you will want to take some time and visit the Green Grab Bag site for full details and to sign up. You can also connect with them on Facebook and Twitter.

Everything in this box sounds really neat! I think I would love to be able to try out some of these products. I am really bad about sunscreen. I have super dry skin so layering on sunscreen AND moisturizer feels awful, combining the two seems nice. Also, that nail polish! I need that in my life!
