See Breakfast in a New Way With the Magimix Vision Toaster & a Giveaway

Not all toasters are created equally. In fact, until very recently I never put much though into my toaster even thought I used it everyday. It was just another appliance really. I have a toaster to tell you about that is beyond just a toaster! This beautiful innovative appliance is the Ferrari of toasters.

The Vision Toaster by Magimix is truly visionary. My initial thought was that it is gorgeous and will help make my kitchen look stylish. Toasters are not know for their beauty, I mean really there are toaster covers for a reason. You won’t want to cover this beautiful toaster. Mine is a lovely chrome with black accents which matches my other appliances.

There is nothing like it; it is the world’s first see-through toaster. I used to get busy with other things while I was waiting on my toast in the morning but not anymore. With double borosilicate insulating glass you can watch as the four quartz heating elements make your toast. It is pretty cool to be able to watch the process and in doing so I was easily able to find the perfect setting on the dial to make my toast the exact brownness I love.

It has four buttons on the front for settings. They are: standard for toast, bagel, reheat and defrost. On the browning control, which is a dial you turn to set the desired brownness, there is also a stop button which will eject your toast if you see it is done.

One of the features that I find so useful is the reheat. Sometimes, actually quite often, I get distracted with morning tasks and come back to find my toast finished and cold. That’s no good since I like my butter to melt into it. Rather than tossing it and starting over, now I can use the reheat setting and warm it without it burning.

What is super handy about the defrost setting is that after the defrost is complete it automatically switches to toast! I also really love that the bagel setting only toasts one side! Now you can have the side you butter, or cream cheese, toasted and the bottom will stay nice and chewy just like it would have been if you had it when it was fresh baked.

For ease of cleaning, there is an easy to slide out crumb tray. Also on the bottom you will find a button that opens the doors making it super easy to get inside and clean it so that your glass stays beautiful and clear.
