Modesty Reinvented With Mikarose

I love the way wearing a dress makes me feel. There is something extra feminine and lighthearted about a dress.  I like my dresses to be both cute and modest, and it seems lately that can be hard to find since things have trended, well, away from modest. I ended up picking the Sydney, which is a lovely pink cowl neck dress with a band across the waist. The material is a lovely, slinky feeling mix of viscose and spandex. It lays in such a flattering way and feels so luxurious. The banded waist has a zipper on the side so that you can have a nice fit there and still be able to get into the dress easily. The hems are double stitched, which I love because usually the first thing that goes wrong with clothes is that the hems come undone.

In addition to loving the way the neck falls I also love how it is gathered at the waistline which makes it very flattering. The sleeves come to just above the elbow and the skirt ends just below the knees. It is a perfect style to wear out to a special dinner and yet would also work well in an office setting. I love that it is machine washable because as you all know the dry-cleaner is a nice drive from my rural town! I also really love that the dresses are available in nice range of sizes that includes plus sizes!
