Andalou Naturals Beauty Balms

I keep hearing about Beauty Balms, and as I approach 40 I have really started notice some changes in the skin on my face. You'll notice in the picture below, with no make-up, that I have a lot of discoloration and a very uneven skin tone. At any rate, it is time to start taking steps to keep my skin looking it’s best. You all know I have sensitive skin and prefer to use natural products when possible.

Andalou Naturals makes a variety of natural and gentle beauty balms, as well as other beauty products. The first one I tried was the un-tinted clarifying formula. It uses fruit stem cells to awaken your cells and make them behave younger. It also repairs any damaged cells and stimulates healthy cell production.

The very first thing I noticed was a light fruity smell, to me it was more citrus like. It has a white shade to it and you’ll want to blend and wait a bit before applying your regular make-up. It isn't greasy and does absorb well. This has an SPF 30 broad spectrum sunscreen in it, which gives your skin some added protection from damage.

I also tried the sheer tint brightening formula. This formula has vitamin C which stimulates healthy circulation, reduces hyper pigmentation, improves tone and texture and makes your skin brighter and tighter. This also has SPF 30 sunscreen in it, and the sheer tint was enough for me that I didn't need to add a foundation when I was using this one.

With both of these I noticed, and best of all, my husband noticed, that my skin was a lot softer and generally looked better overall. I really love the sheer tinted one because then I had the benefit of a base type make-up without any of the make-up damage you get with traditional types of bases.

I love that Andalou Naturals uses the power of nature to heal and repair my skin. If you are looking for some natural, effective skin care products they have three complete skin care routines offered in: Age Defying, Brightening and Clarifying formulas, which can be mixed to make a perfectly personalized routine to help with all of your trouble zones - naturally. In addition to skin care they also carry a hair care line, which I need to try, and a body care line!

Disclosure: I may receive products in exchange for an honest review. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I personally believe will be good for my readers.

  1. This sounds great! I havent had much luck with sheer coverage foundations in the past and my skin is so dry that tinted moisturizers tend to look weird on my skin. This sounds like a great combination that might help with my issues.
