Holiday Gift Guide - For Her - hbl Hair Care

Hey ladies! Today we are going to be talking about something I think a lot of women aren't happy with; their hair. My hair has the full gamut of issues. I have an oily scalp and dry ends. My hair is damaged from heat styling and coloring and it is just frizzy, dry, lifeless and dull! I have been searching, for quite some time, for a product or line that would actually help repair my poor strands. I have tried bottom of the barrel, very inexpensive products all the way to high dollar, top quality products and everything in between with little to no avail.

All of that being said, I am very excited to tell you about a line I have recently come across. It is called hbl (Health, Beauty, Life) hair care. The creator, Patrick, was determined to create a line for healthy hair, without all of the nasty chemicals, after family members were diagnosed with cancer. hbl products are produced without sulfates, parabens, DEAs, TEAs, and a whole list of other potentially harmful ingredients that are found in most other hair products. The line is made up of 13 products which are all gentle, color-safe, and virtually allergen free. Every product also features the same crisp, clean scent, which is set to strict European standards.

I have been using the hbl Volumizing System which included the Volumizing Shampoo, Volumizing Conditioner, and hbl Hair Masque. These products are easily the BEST hair products I have ever used. I know that might seem dramatic, but once you use them, I know you will feel the same way. These products have done so much to repair my hair (and that is saying a lot since I have such damaged hair!). I used to throw my hair up in a ponytail all the time because my hair just wasn't worth fussing with. No matter what I did, I could never get my hair to look good. It always just looked like a damaged mess! My strands have improved in health, look, and feel so dramatically.

I wash my hair everyday to every other day. I have been using this shampoo and conditioner every time I wash and once to twice a week I replaced the conditioner with the hair masque for a deeper conditioning. The shampoo is a little runnier than most other shampoos I have used but it lathers up very well for it being a sulfate free shampoo. After washing, your hair feels clean but not completely stripped. The conditioner is thick and luxurious but rinses out easily and doesn't leave your hair heavy or greasy. My favorite product has got to be the hair masque. It's thick, rich, and soaks into your hair. Unlike most hair masks, it doesn't take an eternity to rinse out and you can feel how soft and moisturized your hair is before you even get out of the shower. I love the way these products smell, as well. They aren't perfume-y or flowery. They just smell clean. The scent stays with your hair for a long time too, which I really like. I can, and will, thoroughly recommend this line to anyone.
