I’d like to wish my wonderful husband a happy birthday! Now he’s only a year younger than me. Andrew is pretty hard to shop for in that he only has a few things he’s passionate about and when he sees something he wants he usually gets it. Having a birthday so close to Christmas he also gets ripped at times in the present department. I was so thrilled to have something for his birthday this year that was totally as awesome as he is.

When it comes to winter clothes for Andrew, I need high quality weather proof things because he spends all day at work in the weather and then for fun we spend countless hours outside at range. The jacket I got for Andrew is the Men’s Legend Camo Hurricane Soft Shell. The first thing I noticed was the Legends Camo, that is exclusive to Legendary Whitetails, it is a really sexy, eye-catching design. On this jacket it is contrasted perfectly with black for a stylish look. In addition to being one sexy jacket (which I love), it has a lot of functional features (which my husband loves).

The micro-weave shell is designed to be wind and water resistant and after wearing it outside on the dock, in the snow and wind, he tells me it really did cut down the wind chill noticeably. That warms my heart as well as his. The inner lining is a soft fleece type material that feels great and keeps the chill out. Plus is has some stretch so he can move freely at work and play even under a few layers. 

There are three zippered pockets for all of his stuff, one on each side and one on the vest. To adjust to personal preferences there are also Velcro adjustments on the cuff and a draw string type adjustment inside at the  bottom. In addition to the functional details there are some nice fashionable details as well. I like the logo, which is on the back top, left breast, and zipper pull. And I really love that legendary is embroidered down the left side.

The attention to function and detailing really make this stand out to me as a beautiful high quality jacket. And the camo pattern is so unique to any I’ve seen and in my opinion just beautiful. Okay maybe beautiful might not be the right word for a men’s jacket but you catch my drift.
