Bart's Cookies Review & Giveaway

I am a sucker for sweets, let me tell ya! I have found that when my sweet tooth kicks in, there is almost nothing better than a delicious cookie to curb my craving. That being said, I am the baker in my house. I get rave reviews all the time on my baked goods, be it from family, friends, coworkers, or strangers. I used to think I made a mean cookie but someone has definitely got me beat. Bart Smith is the founder of BartsCookies.com and he claims to make "the world's best chocolate chip cookies." That may seem like an exaggerated claim but he isn't very far off!

The very first thing that I noticed when opening up my package was the smell. Oh my goodness, it was fantastic! It smelled like I had spent all day in my kitchen baking cookies! I received two dozen cookies, one dozen Peanut Butter with Milk Chocolate Chip and the other was White Chocolate Chip with Macadamia Nuts. Each dozen came packaged in two ziplock baggies, containing six cookies each. Bart also includes extras in most of his orders so there were four extra Macadamia Nut cookies as well. These didn't get pictured because as soon as my husband heard there were 'extras' he proceeded to put the cookies to the test. I won't lie, I partook in the cheating as well...so did my children and my father.

Now I will be the first to admit, I was a little skeptical. Not only did these cookies have a big claim to live up to but I was a little worried that they may not be as fresh as a homemade cookie. If you have these same worries, I am here to tell you that you can just forget them. Had these cookies arrived warm (possibly on a hot, Georgia, August afternoon), you would have a hard time convincing me that you didn't pull them right out of the oven! They were so moist! I tried to get a good picture of the middle of the cookie so you could see for yourself. There are no dry, brittle, crumby cookies to be had here!

I really wish I could accurately portray how delicious these were. The Macadamia Nut wasn't overly sweet and you could really taste the chocolate chips and the nuts. Each bite contained a little of both. No bite was lacking in nutty, chocolate-y goodness. As for the Peanut Butter, these were my favorite. The were rich from the peanut butter and sweet from the chocolate chips. It was a perfect balance. These little cookies are packed to the max with chocolate chips. Now, don't be fooled by the cookie's size. These are called 'B-Bites' and, though small in stature, provide a good 2-3 bites of cookie heaven. If you want a bigger cookie, you can order the 'B-Mo', which is a quarter pound monster of a cookie.

I couldn't be more happy with these cookies. Even though they have made me reevaluate my own recipes, they were just heavenly!
