Holiday Hosting With Food Should Taste Good & Lara Bar

First I want to say Happy New Year to you!! I am so thankful that you all come read my thoughts and I look forward to another year together. How many of you are hosting parties today? I am and this post is coming to from the past. (written in advance I‘m crafty like that) My hosting was made easier by two awesome brands of snack foods - Food Should Taste Good and Lara Bars.

You know from past posts I simply love Food Should Taste Good chips of all varieties, so imagine how happy I was to get a surprise box with goodies from not only them but Lara Bar as well! Lara Bars are one of my husbands favorite go-to travel snacks because of their great taste and simple pure ingredients.

First a huge thank you for the fantastic cutting board set! It was a lovely round wooden cutting board and it also came with all the tools to make a great cheese and meat tray to go with our snacks. In addition to the cutting board there were some great recipe cards for delicious treats that can be made using Lara Bars and FSTG chips. I took close  ups of my two favorites so you can try them yourself!

Now then snack time. There were three new kinds of Food Should Taste Good chips in the box. I love to  try new things so I pretty excited to see the Chocolate Tortilla chip flavor. I have never seen that before anywhere. These awesome chips are perfect  for a savory cream cheese dip or even a sweet pumpkin dip! They are as versatile as they are delicious.

The Blue Corn Tortillas were delicious and that hint of flax seeds that I can pick up on now. These are so good with your favorite salsa and we also eat them straight from the bag with no topping. My favorite of the new flavors was the olive. I loved that I could actually taste the olive! I had these plain as well as with a creamy bean spread. Omg they are so great with my bean spread.

The Lara Bars like I mentioned are one of my husbands favorite snack bars. We both love that all of the varieties have simple recognizable ingredients that you can feel good about eating. They give you wholesome energy to fuel your day. I often throw them in his lunch box  as well as hi range bag so that when hunger strikes he is well armed.

His favorite is the Snicker Doodle flavor and really who doesn’t love snicker doodles? Well this is one that you can actually eat without the guilt. Doesn’t it look delicious? My personal favorite is the Pecan Pie, it’s a lovely treat that doesn’t hit my hips as hard as a real slice of pecan pie would.

Have you tried Lara Bars or Food Should Taste Good? Do tell, what are your favorites? Check out both sites for more information and make sure you follow FSTG on Facebook and Twitter  as well as Lara Bar on Facebook and Twitter to  stay up to date on news and special offers.

Disclosure: I may receive products in exchange for an honest review. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I personally believe will be good for my readers.
