Wednesday, February 5, 2014 Has K9 Advantix II in Time For Spring

Notice the irritated section on Patches
As a pet owner one of our biggest struggles is finding an effective way to combat fleas. The problem is especially troublesome in the summer. This past summer I actually took the dogs to the vet thinking they had some skin issues because two if the four of them had itched and chewed a bare spot right where their tail meet their bottom. According to the vet that is a common area dogs chew with a flea problem.

Needless to say it had gotten out of hand and those two had to take extra medications to get the itching to stop and the hair to  grow back. This year we  are aiming to keep the fleas under control starting now and hopefully throughout the summer. We are using K9 Advantix II for Dogs to help us stay flea free.

K9 Advantix II is used to treat and protects dogs from fleas and tick infestations. It is really easy to use, it is a topical treatment so you don’t have to worry about getting your dogs to swallow anything. I love that it comes in packages of 4 month, 6 month and 12 month treatments that can treat small, medium, large or extra large dogs. So I can use it on all four of my dogs.

Cleo is ready for summer now!
Some of the benefits that K9 Advantix II offers are that it protects a variety of pests including ticks, fleas, mosquitoes, flies, and lice. It kills fleas at all life stages, and most ticks are repelled and killed before they can attach, which is a huge bonus. One really great thing is that it is waterproof and stays on in baths or in the rain. I’m feeling very hopeful that this summer my babies won’t get infested.
