Finding the right foundation is fundamental to having a flawless, all day look. I know from experience if you get one that isn't right for you, you can look like a bit, well clown-like. Recently I was lucky enough to get to try some different formulas to tell you about.

The foundation from the Skin Clearing is really exciting because 100 percent of the ladies who took part in a clinical test had improved skin over time. While most makeup clogs your pores and makes your acne worse this fantastic line actually helps make your skin clearer. This foundation uses MicroClear technology that will not only treat but also help prevent new blemishes. It has a light breathable feel and looks very natural on. Plus, is comes in twelve shades so you can get a really natural match. Also, if you use and love this foundation there is a mineral powder and concealer in the same line.

If you struggle with oil and find yourself constantly reapplying layers to keep your shine under control you will love the Shine Control Collection which has a primer, powder, and foundation, which I tried. The foundation gives you eight hours shine control without being heavy or fake looking. It uses a rice protein complex that absorbs oils without drying out your skin. It is a very lightweight foundation that blends well and looks natural. As an added bonus, there is a broad-spectrum SPF 20 sunscreen. This foundation comes in eight shades and looks flawless on.

If you are looking for a basic no fuss lightweight foundation that has a sunscreen the Healthy Skin Glow Sheers line is for you. This is a lightweight very breathable foundation with a broad- spectrum sunscreen. It goes on easy and smooth, and leaves your skin looking natural and radiant, while still protecting it from daily sun damage. It uses diffracting pigments that give a beautiful hint of shimmer to make you glow. Without the help of makeup I have pretty dull looking skin and that may be why I really liked the extra shimmer on my skin. Besides, as you know I like all that glitters and when my skin glitters in a way that looks like a natural radiance that is all win. 

The last two were from the Long Wear line which I think is my favorite for several reasons. The first thing I really love it that it has vitamins A, C, E and soy which overtime actually improve your skins tone. It is actually clinically proven to improve skin tone in as little as four weeks. I am just in love with the idea of a foundation that actually helps my skin to look better. It also has the light diffusing particles that erase the look of your imperfections.
