Good morning! Who loves pineapples? I must admit I am a little obsessed with them. I love the way they look, I love the challenge of having to hold the count in my head and I really love the versatility of what you can make with them.
I have made a shawl, or two, and a chair doily in pineapple designs and was looking for my next project. I found an awesome book at Leisure Arts that has me in pineapples for a long time to come. 50 Fabulous Pineapple Crochet Motifs has some adorable and very elegant designs that would be suitable for framing!
I was totally taken by the beauty of the design called Mystical Pineapples, and they even have a moth and butterfly! Totally stunning, you will even find an owl, I know many of you are just crazy about owls. Plus, if you want to do something really unique, there is a three dimensional flower called Pineapple Water Lily.
The instructions are very well written and easy to follow. Plus, I have found that in working with designs like this, you can really use a wide variety of yarns and hooks and your project will range from something bookmark size to something you can throw on te back of a chair. So with these 50 motifs you could make hundreds of unique projects.
Have you tried pineapples yet? I would love to hear about the beautiful things you have made.

How I wish I could crochet. Before arthritis, I was a knitter, but alas no more. I agree with you that the Pineapple motifs are great, and thanks for sharing.
