Around this time last year, you guys may remember me posting about eShakti. To refresh your memory, eShakti is a website that offers adorable clothing pieces. On top of offering sizes 0-36, every piece can also be a customized to your own body's measurements. This means you measure your body and get a piece of clothing that is specially made, just for you. You can also choose other options like sleeve length, dress length, and whether or not your piece has pockets. Best part? eShakti is super affordable!
From eShakti, I chose the Tartan Wool-Blend A-Line Dress. The plaid is royal blue, navy, red, and white. The top of the dress is pleated and the skirt flares out. It features a boat neck, princess seamed bodice, and banded waist as well. There is a partial zipper on the side and inner shoulder bra strap keeps which I really love. It also has side seam pockets (which you can remove) and a removable faux leather belt.
Originally, this dress comes with 3/4 sleeves and is knee length. I am not a fan of 3/4 sleeves usually so I changed them to a shorter length and made it an above-the-knee length to fit my 5'2" frame better. It is a heavier, mid-weight dress, which is great for fall and winter. I paired this with black, suede and patent leather, heeled booties and a black, wool peacoat. This dress fits me perfectly and is so super comfortable. There is honestly nothing like slipping into a piece of clothing that is made just for your body. It is quite empowering!
