Losing it with Lee Jeans

If you have been with me for a while, then you will know two things about me for sure... well probably more, but anyways... One is that I struggle with my weight a lot and I am always trying new things and making changes to help with that. Two is that no matter my size, I always find the perfect fit in Lee Jeans. 

Lee Jeans has been a part of my wardrobe from size 22 to size 14 and at each stage they have given me the kind of fit that gives you confidence. Some of my size 18 jeans from Lee even told me how beautiful I was on the inside pockets and I really felt that way while they hugged me just right.

Someone really turned up the heat around here and when I pulled out my shorts they didn't fit! They were a size 18 and even with a belt they just looked awkward... without a belt they wouldn't even stay up. Of course, as you might of guessed, that made me happy and gave me a reason to pick out a few pairs of shorts from Lee to celebrate! 

The first pair I fell in love with was the Natural Fit Corsica, and picked the Midnight Ink Gingham Plaid. These fit me perfectly! I have worn them several times, not only so I could let you know how comfy they are but because I get complements every single time. They are seriously slimming, seriously. 

They wear just below the waist and fall in the mid-thigh area. They are fly zipped and also have a button. There are four pockets, and did I mention they are slimming? That may be the cotton spandex blend. Plus, they come in cutest fabrics, like the gingham I picked and there is also solid colors, a floral, and a stunning pink plaid which I included a picture of because that is just such a fabulous fabric too! I need more of these in my life... seriously.

Next, I went for a skort, the Relaxed Fit Gregory Skort. I love the idea of having the look of a skirt and the freedom of a skort. I don't do somersaults or anything but if I did this would be perfect. The very first thing I noticed about these was that they are so soft and comfortable. It is amazing to me that you can have shorts under a skirt like this without it being bulky at all.. it seriously doesn't wear like there is anything under it. It has a really flattering lay to it. 

These are also worn just below the waist and fall just above my knees. They also have four pockets and cute little tie at the waist. The polyester, rayon, spandex blend, along with great cuts, is what makes these so extra comfortable. The waist is actually elastic and the tie is just a pretty decoration. I picked the grey dot color but it also comes in midnight ink, black and the really sassy guava shade shown here. These are my go to comfy shorts now and paired with a white collared tee you get a classic look perfect for summer.  

I am so glad I know I can always count on Lee to give me the perfect fit no matter what I size I am! Have you looked at what Lee has to offer lately?
