Tranquilogy Adult Coloring Books: Volume 1

I love to color. It is one of those things that I have never grown out of. I think it is so relaxing and a great way to completely clear your mind for a period of time; I love it! Usually, since my boyfriend is an artist, I color his drawings for him. Of course, that is always fun, but it is more nerve-racking than relaxing because I don't want to ruin this image that he just worked so hard to create. That being said, it was really nice to color a picture and not have to worry about messing it up, or shading and shadowing!

I got to try out a copy of Tranquilogy: Volume 1 and I love the images included! There are 45 different images ranging from really complicated to really simple which is nice. There are also little inspirational quotes on the back of the pages, which is a nice feature. My only complaints are that the paper isn't very thick, which is okay for me since my preferred medium is color pencils, but someone who prefers a wetter medium may not like that. Also, the pages aren't perforated.

Despite these little issues, I do really enjoy this book and the images included. I love the quotes and the range of pictures with varying difficulty. There is something for everyone and every mood. If you would like to try out this adult coloring book for yourself, which I really recommend, you can purchase it on Amazon for a great price!
