The Diva Serves High Tea (A Domestic Diva Mystery #10) by Krista Davis

There are some series that make me smile before I even crack the book. I was grinning ear to ear to see The Diva Serves High Tea (A Domestic Diva Mystery #10) by Krista Davis in my reading stack. If you know the characters then you understand and if you don't then you need to. You have until June 7th to get caught up!

From the back of the book:

The New York Times bestselling author of The Diva Steals a Chocolate Kiss serves up a new mystery steeped in murder...

When The Parlour opens up in town, domestic diva Sophie Winston finally has a place to satisfy her cravings for all things tea and crumpet related. And the shop serves as the perfect place for the ladies of the town to gather and gossip, especially since it’s conveniently located right across the street from the new antique store run by the handsome and charming Warren Smith.

But speculation around Warren really boils over when he’s found dead—a victim of poisoning after attending a literacy fundraiser at The Parlour the night before. What Sophie learns about the man leaves a bitter taste in her mouth, and she’ll have to strain out a killer from a strange brew of suspects.

My thoughts:

I am always so excited to see Sophie. These characters and their relationships are so much fun. I was happy to see Mars and Bernie again, and of course Natalie always cracks me up, but Sophie I just adore. Alex is growing on me and the new characters that were there for the mystery, which I won't give away were equally delightful.

The mystery was a twofer and there was the added 'are they connected mystery' to figure out. The subplots and twists all tangled together to make this so much fun on so many levels. As before there were cute questions and answers at the start of the chapters, some informative and few rather hilarious.

In the back you will find recipes and a teaser for the next Claws and Paws mystery, which is another series I recommend you get caught up on. You can't go wrong with Krista Davis.

Take some time to browse the other great mysteries available from Berkley Prime Crime. While you are there, you can sign up for the newsletter so you never miss a new release. I must warn you though, after browsing my wish list is longer than I could probably read. You can also connect with them on Twitter where you can happen across a fun giveaway as well.

Disclosure: I may receive products in exchange for an honest review. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I personally believe will be good for my readers.
