Go Max Go

There are very few things I enjoy more than a candy bar! Imagine how sorry I felt for my husband when he first told me he was vegan - no chocolate! I just couldn't imagine a world without chocolate. As a vegetarian I know that often products designed to fill a void of something one may miss from their old eating habits can really come up short.

Go Max Go not only offers to fill the candy bar void for vegans but they make candy bars that are as good and even better than the ones you may be craving! I am a huge chocolate fan and was so surprised by how delicious these candy bars are!

I had never tried rice-milk, nor chocolate flavored rice-milk so I had no idea what to expect. It is such a rich, sweet flavor and it melts in your mouth just like a fine chocolate would. I’m so impressed by the variety they offer as well.

Cleo’s is a decadent peanut butter cup coated in the rice-milk chocolaty coating.

Twilight has chocolaty nougat & caramel in a rice-milk chocolaty coating.

Jokerz, which was my favorite, has peanuts, caramel and nougat in a rice-milk chocolaty coating.

Mahalo is coconut and almonds in a rice-milk chocolaty coating.

Buccaneer is chocolaty nougat in a rice-milk chocolaty coating.

Snap! is crisped rice in a rice-milk chocolaty coating.

We were also lucky enough to get a sneak preview of the soon to be available Thumbs Up which has a crunchy peanut buttery center in a rice-milk chocolaty coating. This was my husbands favorite.

Not only are these candy bars dairy free and vegan but four of them: Cleo’s, Mahalo, Snap! and the soon to be available Thumbs Up, are also gluten free!

These bars are such a tasty treat I think everyone will love them vegan or not. In fact if I had not known I would have assumed it was a very rich gourmet chocolate! You don’t have to take my word for it you can find your new favorite candy bar at the Go Max Go website.

  12. Along with being completely vegan, I love that they are aware of the ethical issues involved with sourcing some of the ingredients, and are working hard to make good and ethical choices with their sourcing.

  21. I learned that "if you crave a gently sweetened coconut candy bar topped with three whole dry roasted almonds and covered in a luscious chocolatey coating… hang loose, the Mahalo™ bar is for you!". Mmmm...that would be me!

I like that the products have no hydrogenated oils, trans fats or artificial ingredients.
