Veri Peri

As a vegetarian, I often get asked about how bland my food must be, and I imagine that might be the case if I just ate green beans with butter. However, I am always searching for new exciting things for me and my husband to try. We recently found the most awesome and flavorful hot sauces!

Veri Peri sauces add something magical and very tasty to almost every dish. They are perfect for people who like their food with a great deal of wow, and can handle some hot! My husband, as you probably already gathered from other posts, is a hug fan of all things spicy. After his first try, he instantly had to know more and started researching exactly what the Bird’s Eye chili pepper is.

It isn't just the spice that makes Veri Peri so fantastic, it also has a wonderful rich creamy flavor that is usually lacking in other hot sauces. The flavor range makes it perfect for so many dishes. We've had it with steamed vegetables as a sauce, slow cooked in beans to season them, as a dip for raw vegetables and even added to casseroles. It is very versatile.

It you are not a huge fan of extra hot sauces they even offer some milder options: Mild, Garlic and my personal favorite Lemon and Herb, which is great on a tomato and cream cheese sandwich. With these milder options you will be able to share this wonderful treat with the whole family.

There are a number of reasons that this is the leading hot sauce brand in South Africa. I personally loved tasting a bit of a culture that I otherwise had no awareness of, nor any access to - it was a mini culinary adventure! I encourage you to browse the website and find out more about these unique hot sauces and find a flavor that will work for you and your family. You can also connect with Veri Peri on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest!

  4. Although all of them sound delicious I tend to go for the really hot ones because hotter the better I love things like Jalepenos and Habeneros. Thank you for the giveaway.
