Making Travel Pleasant With the EZYDog Transporter

Traveling with pets can be a challenge even with the most well behaved animals. I happen to have 4 rowdy dogs and a temperamental cat. I think the worst part of having to get all five of them anywhere is what to do with Sam, my cat. He gets very irritated with the dogs rather quickly, and starts to shred my lap.

Traditional hard plastic pet carriers really stress him out, and in the end I have to clean out the unpleasantness he leaves behind.  The EZYDog transporter is exactly what I needed to make things more pleasant for Sam and everyone else. It is unique to traditional carries in ways that both you and your pet will appreciate.

I was so amazed by Sam’s reaction to the transporter. As soon as I had it together and on the floor he actually went inside and took a nap! Sam is really fussy about where he sleeps, there are a number of beds and cat condos scattered about the house that he ignores. I think why he loved it, and why your pet will too, is because it was designed for their comfort.

The inside is not a hard plastic, it is a lovely plush feeling material. You will not need to toss in an extra blanket, unless you just want to. The bottom pad, in addition to being soft and comfy, comes out so that I can easily clean it and keep it feeling and smelling great.

I haven’t yet stored mine because Sam likes to sleep in it, but when the time comes storage will be so easy. It comes apart easily with two zippers and all fits neatly together, taking up no more space than a briefcase. When you need it, you unzip it, take out the middle part and re-zip it all together - it couldn't be simpler.

The middle part is a soft material that is still firm enough to support the carrier when the pet is inside, and the top has nice holes so that your baby gets good air, and in Sam’s case he has a way to reach out and get our attention. The door is also opened and closed with a zipper and is a nice mesh like material that adds to the good air circulation and openness that helps Sam to relax when he’s inside.

The sides are also firm yet not harsh and the outside has a stylish grey material. It also comes in a really pretty green color with a floral design. For carrying you can either use the mounted center handle or the shoulder strap, which is removable. This transporter is recommend for pets up to 15 pounds, but works perfect for Sam who is a big boy for a cat and weighs in at 16.5 pounds.

I can’t begin to express how thrilled I am with the difference in Sam when we travel now. There is no more panting with stress, the shedding isn't as bad, and so far he has left me no unpleasantness to clean up after a trip. This is truly a pet and people friendly carrier, that I highly recommend.

In addition to this wonderful transporter EZYDog also carries a great line of leads, collars and other products to make venturing out with your pets a joy. Please take some time to browse the EZYDog site and find the product that is perfect for you. I think for me a few couplers and a good leash are next in line.

  1. This looks absolutely awesome! I have a hard time with Dex in the car, He starts on my lap and ends short trips sitting on my shoulder with claw marks all over me because he climbs all over me in the car. If he is in a crate he cries because he can't see me. I think if I had this it would work out where he would be more comfortable.. Love it.
