Bestowed Box

As a snacker and a health food novice I was very excited to get the chance to try a month of the subscription service Bestowed Box. The Bestowed Box is filled with a wonderful selection of five to seven healthy foods that are personally curated by Celebrity Nutritionist and Author, Heather Bauer, R.D. 

One of the really neat things about the Bestowed Box is that on the information about the products it also has suggested uses. That is so useful because I had tried a few of the products in this month’s box but most of them were new to me and I welcomed the suggestions. 

The first thing I pulled out of the box was the ips Egg White Chips – Sea Salt & Pepper Flavor.  I have never tried egg white before, in fact I had never heard of such a thing.  One great thing about these is that each serving has 7 grams of protein and no trans fat.  I am certainly looking forward to trying their other flavors, especially the Aged White Cheddar. 

The Happy Family Happy Squeeze Treat in Carmel Apple flavor made with organic apple puree was an awesome treat.  This 100 little pouch is a great snack to throw in your to go bag when you have  a day out with the kids or for yourself. 

I love Balance Bars and was so happy to get to try a new flavor. In the box was one from the dark line, it was coconut flavor. I shared this with my husband because he also really enjoys Balance Bars for a mid day pick me up or after workout recharge.

The Oloves Mediterranean Olives were a very nice surprise. We love to throw olives in most anything, they add such a great flavor and some needed good fats!  They are preservative-free Pitted Green Olives with Basil & Garlic! I loved that they were in a mess free, no liquid pouch in case you want to eat them on the go or at your desk.  

There was also an iTrain $50 Gift Card. iTrain is a great source for downloadable workout programs. You can download them right to your MP3 player.

The last thing we pulled out was the Artisana Organic Foods Superfood Acai Berry Nut Butter. Acai berry and creamy cashew butter are combined to make a wonderful substitution for PB& J.  It came in a squeeze pack that is great for picnicking at the lake.
