Looking for a new pair of closed in shoes can be a challenge for me because I have pretty flat feet, and I find most shoes rather uncomfortable, due to the padding and arch supports. Thankfully there is a great new trend of barefoot lifestyle shoes, and I find these extremely comfortable. A barefoot shoe allows your foot to rest flat and readjust to it’s natural form. They should have super flexible, thin outsoles, and a flat foot bed with no padding optimally.
Finding those qualities can be hard, as not all barefoot shoes are created equally. However, when I do find a truly flat shoe my feet are so happy. I have been living in my ANI shoes since the first time I tied them on. Speaking of the ties they have extra long ties, that are color coordinated with the color shoe you chose, and they give a fun look to the shoe.
ANI not only has the comfort qualities I look for in a barefoot shoe, but they also have some of the most adorable shoes! The simple comfortable design comes in a great range of unisex color options, with black or white base options that have a splash of color at the heel. I personally went with the white and blue because it is a great classic look that will go with most all of my casual looks.
Aside from the look though there are some really great reasons to go with a pair of ANI. They are one hundred percent organic canvas and even the packaging is made with recycled materials. They also give to Soles4Souls, who collects new shoes to give relief to the victims of abject suffering and collects used shoes to support micro-business efforts to eradicate poverty. For every pair of ANI Shoes sold someone in need will get a pair of shoes- that is awesome!
Have you tried a barefoot shoe before? Are you ready to feel the extreme comfort of your feet in their natural position? When you are head over and check the ANI site to find your pair. You can also connect with them on Facebook and Twitter.
