Lugz Women's ZROCS Review and Giveaway

So we all know how loved the boyfriend shirt was, for both comfort and style. How about the boyfriend shoes? There is nothing like  a comfy pair of sneakers to start the summer with. You know I am a shoe lover and when I saw the beautiful crisp look of the Lugz Women's ZROCS I was giddy with excitement.

The design of this Oxford sneaker is perfect for casual wear and has some really neat design elements as well. I like the pretty metal lace eyelets, they really pop on the white. Speaking of white, I also love that the permahide upper is mostly white with only the slightest color accents, that makes it pair so easily with anything I want to wear. The accent is a metallic inset L with a hint of color. The shoes I picked have pink for the accents, of course.

Aside from the upper there is also a burst of pink just at the bottom and peeking out from the inside. There is a comfy cushioned insole that make these not only super cute, but also super easy on feet. Also for comfort they have a padded tongue and collar.

So far I have worn these everyday for over two weeks and I can honestly say they are comfortable, even on days when I have been on my feet for extended periods. I have paired them with shorts, jeans and even slacks.

Hotter Shoes

If you have been here a while, you might remember me talking about Hotter Shoes before. Hotter literally has the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn, which is why I keep going back to them! This time I got to try out a pair of their Michelle heels in Black. These also come in two other gorgeous colors: Navy and Plum. With a 2 1/4 inch heel, these are easily the most comfortable heels I have ever walked in.

The T-bar strap is really cute but also helps provide more comfort by keeping your shoes in place. These also feature Hotter's Pyramid Foam Technology, which truly make these the most comfortable heels ever! The shoe is made out of 100% leather and suede with the exception of the sole which is 100% rubber. The sole also has an adorable flower design which is a great little touch.

Hotter offers quite a range of sizes from a US women's 5 to 11. They also have styles available in a slim fit, extra wide, and extra extra wide fit. Hydrofeet Insoles

I stand on my feet for 40+ hours a week so, by the end of most days, my feet really hurt! As you can imagine, I was pretty excited when Hydrofeet offered me the chance to try out their insoles. I have never heard of anything like them! Instead of being rubber, gel, or memory foam, they are filled with non-toxic, FDA-approved, food grade glycerin! How cool is that?

Hydrofeet insoles are anti-microbial treated and can be machine washed and air dryed weekly. No more stinky feet! The glycerin also helps keep your feet cool while keeping them comfortable! These claim to provide: fatigue reduction, cushioning, massage, shock absorption, and weight distribution. After wearing these for a little over 2 weeks, I can vouch for those claims; these are awesome! I never want to go to work without them again!

They come in a variety of sizes and are about the thickness of a quarter. I really like how thin they are. It makes them great for all kinds of shoes. The sensation when you first wear them is a little weird and definitely takes some getting used to. The best way I can explain it is like walking on a mini waterbed. No matter how your foot lands, the insole redistributes to keep your foot "even". The liquid makes sure that your foot is always cushioned, no matter what you are doing.

I stand by these insoles 110%. I can easily recommend these to anyone who is currently suffering from any foot related discomfort. Grace Women's Leather Adjustable Sandal from Therafit shoes!

Who is ready for Spring? I know I am and so are my feet! They long for the days of open sandals and no socks! Of course, sometimes that means giving up the extra support of sneakers and boots, which for my feet can get trying after a long day. Fear not sandal lovers! This footbed is so soft and luxurious feeling against my feet too! I noticed instantly it has the shock absorbing midsoles which have arch support and deep heel-cups for stability and comfort. It has a rubber outsole which is accredited by the National Posture Institute Approved by the American Podiatric Medical Association. It seriously felt like putting on a sneaker but still getting to enjoy the open air of a sandal.

Now let's talk cute! Therafit’s Grace leather sandal has the timeless classic look with a padded collar and adjustable straps. It has the cutest little button features on those straps at both the toe and ankle yet they are adjusted by Velcro so you can get a totally perfect fit. Even the insoles have a super cute design. Lugz Sophia

As you guys may already know, I love Lugz and the awesome shoes that they offer. They are cute, high quality, and affordable! Plus, you can shop for the whole family in one place! This go around, I got a shoe for myself, the Sophia. The Sophia is a feminine version of a traditional men's workboot. I think they look great with a pair of skinny jeans and a band t-shirt but I can see many cute outfits in my future with these!

The Durabrush upper is supported by a cushioned insole. Both the tongue and collar are padded and the sole's texture helps your feet stick to the ground instead of slipping. Now, being inspired by a workboot, I didn't expect these boots to be comfortable but I was so wrong. This boots are ridiculously comfortable. I can wear them all day long, while being on my feet most of the day, and my feet do not hurt by the time I get home.

I am seriously in love with my Sophias. Therafit Now Has Boots!

Making shoes that are comfortable is a hard task and part of the reason is because we all have different comfort needs for our feet.  I think I've told you before I have pretty flat feet, as well as low arches, and that makes most padded shoes pretty uncomfortable. In fact, there are very few shoes that I find comfortable.

I have told you before about Therafit. In fact, I have told you a few times because I have several pairs. When you find a shoe that is THAT comfy you will want that comfort in every style. There are so many reasons to love the Euro Women's Ankle Boot. I’ll start at the top. It has an adorable leather upper with fully padded collars. I was pleasantly surprised that this didn't bother my feet, but I really love that you have the option to take it out if it does. It has polyurethane gel insert comfort pads between the EVA insole and the next insole which is made from cosmo fabric.

Next is the EVA midsole and the shock absorbing wedge. This is the part that makes it adjustable. In this wedge there are three adapters  You can leave them all or take as many or all of them depending on your preferences. They are really easy to remove. You just firmly press from the inside and the rod will easily pop out. To put them back in, you just push them in from the outside. It really is that easy, since I have other Therafit shoes I knew I like it with them all, which came as a surprise to me since I typically prefer less support.  I recommend you play with it until you find just the right setting for you.

Casual Cute and Comfortable the Maya from Therafit

It is a busy, on-your-feet time of year. As you know, I am all about comfort and when it comes to comfort, nothing beats my Therafit shoes. Yes, I mean shoes as in plural. I loved my first pair so much that I have added more sneakers, walking shoes, sandals and now, I have another fabulous pair to tell you about.

Be Cute AND Comfortable with TheraFit

Lugz Pronto Lo

Comfortable sneakers can be hard to find and finding a comfortable pair that also looks good is even harder. Thank goodness for Lugz and all of their stylish, comfortable shoes. On top of that, their shoes are also affordable and they offer shoes for the whole family! What's not to love?

My husband got the chance to try out the Pronto Lo in the color Black / White / Mars Red. The top part of the upper is a kind of shiny fabric and the bottom part is a smooth leather fabric. The cushioned insole is white on the outside and red on the inside. These shoes also have a padded tongue and collar so your special man's feet stay comfortable all day! The texture on the bottom also makes sure that even the clumsiest of men stay upright. 

My husband absolutely loves his Lugz and has been wearing them almost everyday. This is a big deal since his military boots have been his go-to shoes for almost 5 years. He said that they not only keep his feet feeling comfortable but are also breathable and keep his feet cool in the intense Georgia heat. I can see him enjoying these shoes for quite a while and I welcome the sight of something other than combat boots on his feet!

Lugz Burke Linen

How many of you are prepared for Father’s Day? It can be really hard to shop for men. They certainly don’t know how to drop hints like us ladies do.  However, after my husband told me how much he loved his last pair of Lugz I knew exactly what to get him this year.

After browsing all the styles in the men’s section… okay I did peek at the ladies too of course… I settled on the Burke Linen, which is a casual canvas sneaker with a laid back, street style. I picked the Olive because Andrew always loves, and looks smashing in neutral colors. Plus, I really love the shade and already know several looks of his that it will go great with. My husband loves not only how awesome they look but also how comfortable they are. That is mostly due to the cushioned insole, which gives just the right amount of comfort without being over bulky - so I am told.  And the rubber outsole helps to ensure good footing as well.

Comfy Feet with Okabashi

I am back with even more summer footwear! You can never have too many options, right? Today, I want to share Okabashi with you. Okabashi is a family owned business that has been making shoes since 1984. They offer quite a few different choices of flip-flops and sandals for both men and women. I got the chance to try the Indigo Classic Flip-Flops in the color Black/Black Stripe ($22.99). 

Their shoes are made in the US (right here in Georgia, to be exact) using a zero waste manufacturing process. All of their shoes are 100% recyclable and contain 25% recycled material. They are also vegan friendly and durable enough that they have a 2-year warranty! The massaging insoles have awesome arch support and an antimicrobial agent in them. The bottom of the sole is also anti-slip. On top of all of this, they are also dishwasher safe!

Who knew flip-flops could have so many features?! Well, they all come together and make an amazingly comfortable and easy to care for shoe. I have never had a pair of flip-flops that have had such an amazing insole. It hugs my foot and keeps my feet feeling great all day! The arch support is unlike any flip-flop I have ever seen. Keeping them clean is also super easy, which I really appreciate. The small pink accent on the strap is also well appreciated and adds a little bit of girly flair! I love my Okabashi flip-flops and for the affordable prices, I will definitely be adding more to husband and I's summer footwear selection!

Sheinside Lookbook

So, while browsing around today, I found an awesome site that I just had to share with you guys! The website is Sheinside.com and they offer great clothes for really affordable prices. At other stores and websites, on trend clothing, like what Sheinside offers, can cost two and three times more. I put together 3 outfits and I figured I would share them with you! 

The first outfit is super casual and great for Summer. It features a Marilyn Monroe cameo t-shirt, ripped denim shorts, black and gold bracelets, and awesome cat-eye sunglasses. The bracelets add a great accent and keep the outfit feminine and cute. Add your favorite flats or flip-flops and you are set and ready for a warm Summer day!  

The second outfit I put together is a little dressier but could still be pretty casual depending on the shoes you pair it with. The dress is chiffon and has a beautiful floral print on the bottom half which is really popular for Summer. Being sleeveless, it is great for hot days and nights. You could easy pair this with a blazer or cardigan for chillier nights though. The gold necklace with pastel gems plays off of the floral and brings the outfit together. A simple gold bow bracelet finishes off the whole outfit.

The last outfit I put together was completely inspired by the awesome spiked flats that I found. I also stumbled upon a great chiffon blouse in an awesome skull print. A simple black tank top underneath would complete the look. The white, high-waited jeans are perfect for tucking in the blouse and giving contrast to the black top and shoes. Throw these sliver stud and spike earrings on and you are ready to go! I really love this outfit!

Bokos

I have spent the majority of my life in the South and during all of the hot weather (most of the year) my go-to shoes are always sandals or flip flops. With the rest of my body working up a sweat, I don't need my feet hot and sweaty too. Gross! Recently, I was sent a pair of Bokos sandals and, as their slogan suggests, they have quickly become my favorite sandals.

Bokos sandals are all rubber and have a one-piece design. The design makes them extremely durable and ready for any strenuous activity you wear them through. Any avid flip flop or sandal wearer has had their shoes break at some point in time and it is nothing less than infuriating. Especially if you are out and about! The one-pice design puts an end to those days! The rubber is also non-porous so it is super easy to keep clean and odor free. No pores in the material means no place for nasty foot odors to hide!

Bokos are available for men and women and each have 6 different colors to choose from. Mine are in Dark Pink which is an awesome hot pink color. These are pretty darn comfortable! The designs on the top and bottom of the sole make them easy to walk in and slip-resistant, which is a must for a clumsy person like myself! I have worn these to the store, the park, and everywhere else I have gone and I have never had a problem with comfort or slipping, which can be an issue with other sandals. One of the best things about Bokos is the price! Each pair is only $18! For that price, I will be picking up some more colors to match all of my summertime outfits!

Lugz Vet Slip

It’s Spring! And it almost feels like it, some days. You know I am a shoe girl and as you may have imagined, I have already freshened up my Spring shoe line up. My husband, however, is always reluctant to get new shoes. He seriously would rather wear ratty old shoes than try to find another pair he likes. Crazy, right? He likes his ‘old comfy’ shoes. However, we need to head out and be seen together, so I needed to get him some fresh Spring shoes.

As you know from prior posts I really love Lugz shoes. Both of my winter shoes, my boot and mocs, from Lugz were just perfect for me. While I was browsing Lugz for myself, I noticed they have an awesome, stylish selection of  shoes for men too. It didn't take long for me to spot the perfect pair for my husband and after thoroughly looking them over he agreed that the Vet Slip on looked great. 

I was even more impressed when we received them. My husband picked the Fleetwood/White shade which is a lovely light cream/tan color. The upper is a classic canvas style in a comfortable, breathable, denim material. On the outside side of each upper is the Lugz logo. I like that in addition to having laces, the tongue is also attached with a bit of give so that if you tie it right you can just slip them on and off easily. 

The tongue and collar are padded for comfort and style. Speaking of comfort, the insole is also lightly cushioned and gives support without being overly spongy, which my husband tells me can be a bad thing to him. The combination of breathable materials and light support makes them great all-day shoes. There is a matching pin stripe on the sole that runs along the shoe. The soles are rubber and there is a nice design on the bottom that gives them good grip. 

My husband really loves wearing his new Lugz Vet Denim shoes and tells me that they are very comfortable even after a long day out.
