Fair Treasure October Box

You know I love fair trade treasures and you may remember last month I told you about an awesome subscription service called Fair Treasure. This services sends you two to three hand picked treasures each month, and when I say treasures I really mean it. The items from both boxes I've received are awesome!

This month had two treasures, the first was a Ton Fai Open Weave Scarf. It is a wonderful time of year for scarfs, and this one was in lovely purples that will go awesome with Fall colors. This is 100 percent cotton, hand dyed and woven in Thailand by fruit and rice farmers! There are specks on it from the packaging but a gentle washing will sort that out.

The other item was the Jallpa Nina Artisan Group Ceramic Owl Topper which is just so gorgeous. It's available in three different colors and is dishwasher safe! This group of artisans was founded in Lima Peru and has a passion for pottery. The works are inspired by their Inca heritage and just lovely.

Both of these pieces will now be treasured family pieces in my home. Also in the box was a wonderful quote from Humbert Wolfe, ‘Listen! The wind is rising, and the air is wild with leaves, We have had summer evenings, now October eves!’ I am so pleased with the value and thought that goes into the fair Treasure Box that I can easily recommend it to you.

I really love that all of the items are handcrafted one of a kind treasures, that I know were ethically sourced. To find out more and to sign up for your own Fair Treasure box please visit the Fair Treasure Site. You can also connect with them on Facebook and Twitter.

Disclosure: I may receive products in exchange for an honest review. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I personally believe will be good for my readers.
