Fair Treasure November Box

You know I love fair trade treasures and you may remember the last two months I told you about an awesome subscription service called Fair Treasure. This services sends you two to three hand picked treasures each month, and when I say treasures I really mean it. The items from all three boxes I've received are awesome!

In this month’s box there were two things and a wonderful quote like before. The quote this month is from Ralph Waldo Emerson, who I love. “For each new morning with its light, For Rest and shelter of the night, For health and food, for love and friends, For everything Thy goodness sends.”

One of the items this month is from Greenola. I received earrings, which are handmade from recycled bottles. They are just lovely, with beautiful shades of yellow and purple. They were made from an artist, Karina, who was born and raised in Cambodia. She collects the bottles from her neighborhood and local businesses that would otherwise throw them away. It really is a wonderfully responsible way to help this artist rise above poverty.

Also in the box was a gratitude candle. As soon as I saw that I was so excited. We are huge believers in having an attitude of gratitude. It is from Maroma in India. In the Auroville community, Maroma gives sustainable work to many women from surrounding villages. Auroville is a wonderful sustainable community in which most of the residents work in organic farming, renewable energy, handcrafts, and small eco-friendly industries.  The candle is beautiful and smells lovely. It has orange, grapefruit and lemon essential oils.

I really love that all of the items are handcrafted one of a kind treasures, that I know were ethically sourced. To find out more and to sign up for your own Fair Treasure box please visit the Fair Treasure Site. You can also connect with them on Facebook and Twitter.

Disclosure: I may receive products in exchange for an honest review. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I personally believe will be good for my readers.
