Holiday Gift Guide - For Her - Lip Factory

If there were one go to had to have couldn't give up kind of makeup for you what would it be? For me it’s lipsticks. I just can't imagine leaving the house without something on my lips. Even if I am a hot mess and can’t find time to do my face I have to put on some lipstick or gloss. It truly wakes up your face even if it’s all you use.

Anyways what has me going on about lips is that it is that wonderful time of month again when my Lip Factory box arrives! If you’ve been paying attention the last few months you will already know that Lip Factory is a wonderful makeup subscription service that has a strong focus on lips. This month it was all about the lips - score!

From MODEL Co was the Lip Couture Lipstick in a fabulous shade called Lueia. This luscious looking shade isn't available on the MODEL Co site, not when I checked, so I am feeling pretty special to have it! It goes on so smooth and feels so moisturizing. The finish has a lovely satiny look, and for touch-ups there is a built in mirror on the side of the tube.

I’ve never used herbal lipstick before so I was eager to try the Palladio Herbal Lipstick that was included. The shade I was sent is silver rose which is a nice bright pink with silver shimmers in it. This is a very smooth non drying lipstick as well. A lot of pinks can struggle to give good color, but this is a full rich color with great coverage.

From Designer Skin was their Fall Lip Shimmer in Mocha Chica, which is an awesome shimmer gloss. It comes in a handy pen that will easily fit in a purse or pocket. It's one of the kinds you twist the product up into the bristles. I love that it has vitamin E too. A lot of glosses can be sticky but this one wasn't too bad. I can put up with a little sticky because it has good hang time.

There were two products in the box from Medusa’s Makeup who I think I may be in love with! Up first was a shimmer gloss in the shade temptation. I loved how much coverage and shimmer this had, especially for a lip gloss. Check out the shade and just look at all the sparkle! What I really love about Medusa’s Makeup is that they are cruelty free and PETA certified.

The first thing I noticed about the lipstick from Medusa’s Makeup was the tube! OMG just how cute is that? It has a little rose at the top. It’s just fabulous and things like a special tube really does get me excited. When I opened it and saw the color, Baroque it was love at first sight! This is the shade I have on in the pictures, it’s just awesome. It goes on smooth and creamy, and just feels as nice as it looks.

And last in the box was a great tool to help you put on all of this lovely lipstick, a retractable lip brush. I can always use another lip bush and this one is a neat, easy to use, no mess design so that is a bonus!

Isn’t this a fabulous box of lip goodies? The best part is it is a super value for only $22/month for U.S. subscribers and no charge for shipping. You will noticed my box was a $65 value! If you are in Canada it is $26/month which includes a $4 shipping charge. Plus $32/month for all other international subscribers which includes $10 shipping charge. And you can really feel good about purchasing from them because as of September 2013, they are donating a percentage of each box sold to the Compassionate Hands and Hearts Breast Cancer Outreach. To sign up and get full details please visit the Lip Factory site. You can also connect with them on Facebook and Twitter.

Disclosure: I may receive products in exchange for an honest review. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I personally believe will be good for my readers.
