Holiday Gift Guide - For Him/Her - Nerd Block

Some mail days are just way more exciting than others! When I opened my mailbox and saw my Nerd Block had arrived my little nerd heart was so happy! It’s hard to explain just how excited I get by collectibles but I am certain some of you ‘get it.’

Nerd Block is a relatively new monthly subscription service that caters to nerd, geeks, collectors - you know, us cool folks. The service is $19.99 a month and shipping will vary because they ship everywhere, which is rather unique and pretty awesome. Each box contains a cool shirt, you pick your size on sign up, and great nerd goodies.

Check out what was inside:

The Dark Side shirt, which I love. I mean really who doesn't love Star Wars? If you don’t just don’t answer, I want to keep liking you. Darth Vader happens to be my favorite, I know I am not alone there, and so along with me I am sure many Nerd Block’ers were pretty tickled to see the shirt design this month. The shirt alone is enough to make the box a good value… but there was more.

There was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coaster which is just too cool! I am going to have to watch this because I just know my brother will want to lift it the first time he sees it!  We used to love watching TMNT together.

The Spawn Mini Trading Figures Series 1 was way too cool! I love Spawn and as you can see from the picture mine is very awesome. He is going to be the star of my figurine shelf.

There was a really cool DC Universe Mystery Mini. I got Batman and he was one of the dark Batman’s which makes him extra special for me. He is chilling-out with my Darth Vader bobble head now and they seem to be getting along.

The Aperture Laboratory Sentry Turret is a wonderful addition to my Aperture Laboratories collection which is growing faster than I anticipated. I got a wood grain design called table.

The Thor Marvel eraser had my husbands name on it as soon as I saw it. I haven’t shown him yet though as I plan to put it in his stocking with a few other comic related items.

The Adventure Time brain teaser is very fun. It is for ages 6 and up so you shouldn't struggle too much… I may. It is for two players that way I can feel really dumb when I get beat by a kid.

Overall this box was a fantastic value and had enough of a variety that every Nerd should be able to find a favorite or two. There is less than two days left to sign up for a November box so you will want to head over to Nerd Block’s website and get on that post haste. You don’t want to miss out on a box this awesome do you? You can also connect with them on Facebook and Twitter

Disclosure: I may receive products in exchange for an honest review. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I personally believe will be good for my readers.
