BoxyCharm - May

It's subscription box time! Today I am super excited to have the chance to tell you about an awesome service. BoxyCharm is a monthly subscription box that sends out full-size and luxury-size samples of high end and on trend brands. For $21 and free shipping, BoxyCharm is literally a steal! I received the May box, which also happened to be a Mother's Day box. Let's see what was inside!

I sure have been talking about my hair a lot lately so you know the first thing I grabbed for was the Novex hair treatments. There was one Olive Oil treatment and one Argan Oil. I have used both of these in place of my conditioner and I am shocked at the results. Talk about smooth hair! I have yet to use them as masks but that is something I am super excited to do after seeing the results from leaving them on for only 2-3 minutes. My hair was smooth, soft, shiny, and full of life after using these. I love them!

Nail polish always finishes your look. It helps you look put together and, well...polished, for lack of a better word. Removing your polish is a lot less rewarding. Acetone smells bad and leaves your nails and skin begging for moisture. When I saw the Nail Polish Remover Pads from Lauren B. Beauty ($15), I had to pop them open. Why? Because they are scented! I got the Sweet Berry Blossom scent and WOW. These actually smell really good. I didn't think it was possible! Not only do they smell good, but they remove polish easily and don't leave your nails or skin dry. I will definitely be purchasing these in the future.

Next up is a Mirabella Pretty & Provocative lipstick in the color Heat. This is a super creamy, highly pigmented lipstick in a beautiful red shade. It has pretty good staying power and tends to stain my lips, which gives it even longer wear time. It is also lead and paraben free which is always appreciated for something going on my mouth! With a retail price of $22, this lipstick alone covers the cost of the box! I told you BoxyCharm was a great deal!

The next item was a Ferro Cosmetics Pink Fabuki Brush($20). Pink plus kabuki equals FABuki. As well as a cute name, this kabuki brush is pretty awesome. It is a pretty good size, as you can see compared to my hand. The bristles are super soft and apply just the right amount of powder. The brush has a nice density and applies my powder evenly and allows for a little more coverage. It is also cruelty-free and made in the US, which are two things I love as well!

The last item in my BoxyCharm box was an ILLUME Lavish Hand Creme in Desert Tulip ($20). This is definitely my favorite product included. It smells AMAZING! It is floral and fruity and oh-so feminine. The packaging is adorable and I love the quote on inside of the package! This absorbs easily and doesn't leave my hands greasy which can be a real issue with a lot of hand cremes. I cannot get enough of this scent! I will be checking out the rest of ILLUME's products in the near future, for sure.

I loved my BoxyCharm box and I know you will too! With a retail value of $77 (not including the hair samples), I cannot believe the box is only $21! It is a great value and awesome way to try out new beauty products. Be sure to head over to their site to sign up and see past boxes. Also, follow BoxyCharm on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to never miss any news or promotions!

Disclosure: I may receive products in exchange for an honest review. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I personally believe will be good for my readers.
