154 Wave Patterns From Leisure Arts

I have been having so much fun crocheting, more than I ever imagined. I see the most beautiful patterns and the list of things I want to make just grows out of control. One thing I really want to do is make a bath mat from some cut up shirt yarn and I want it to be wavy, you know, water-like. I had no idea where to start though so, of course, I headed to my favorite place to look at craft patterns, Leisure Arts.

It didn’t take long to find just what I needed, 154 Crochet Wave Patterns all in one fabulous book. Not only will it give me all the stitch patterns I need to make my rug but also to make endless other projects like, afghans, bedspreads, dishcloths, placemats or even scarves!

When I opened the book I was so spoiled for choice: waves, chevrons, and  ripples oh my! I have pulled out 5 to work up a few rows of and decide which one will make up my bathroom mat. However while I was thumbing through it so many caught my eye as something that would work up to be a great blanket.

For that matter, if I am really cleaver, I can pick ones that will combine well and the possibilities to my creations will really be endless. It is written in clear easy to follow instructions and has patterns of all levels. This is one of those books that every crocheter needs in their collection. I know it will be a reference that I turn to a lot.

Make sure you also connect with Leisure Arts on Facebook and Twitter so that you never miss a special or new pattern! Also, if you sign up for their knitting or crochet newsletters, you get a free pattern on Fridays!

Disclosure: I may receive products in exchange for an honest review. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I personally believe will be good for my readers.

  5. What kind of yarn would absorb water like a regular bath mat?
