The first snack I tried was the Matcha Mochi Choco Sqaure. This little guy was interesting. It is described as a green tea chocolate square with a chewy mochi center. I wasn't the biggest fan of this one. It wasn't chocolaty and the center had a weird texture. It didn't taste bad but it didn't taste like much to begin which. My husband enjoyed it more than I did and said he would eat more of them, given the chance.
Next up is the Baked Pudding Kit Kats. These were definitely my favorite. I tried one without baking it and one with the baking time and I preferred it without but both ways were absolutely delicious. These had a wonderful, creamy texture and the taste reminded me of french vanilla mixed with caramel. I love these and will definitely be looking for more of these in the future!
The Wasabi Kakinotane is a spicy cracker and peanut mix that went straight to my husband. He said that is was delicious and had a wonderful spiciness to it. Unfortunately, I steer clear of anything branded with wasabi, so I didn't try these. The Matcha Okoshi is a green tea flavored puffed rice snack. Yet again, I didn't care for this one, but Charles loved it. Apparently, green tea is not my flavor! It was wonderfully crunchy though!
The next two snacks were also taken by my husband. First was the Takoyaki Umaibo, which is an octopus flavred puffed rice stick. He said that it said just like shrimp ramen and he actually really liked it. The Corn Potage Umabio is a creamy corn potage flavored puffed rice snack. My husband really liked this one and said that the flavor description was perfect. He liked the crunch that both of these had and has me on the lookout for more flavors!
The last two snacks were loved by both my husband and I. The Bake - Chocos are little chocolate cake bites that you microwave for 25-45 seconds. Without the microwave, these aren't really special but once you add the heat, they become something brand new. They are wonderfully gooey and chocolaty! Definitely delicious! The Harvest Green Tea Crackers were my saving grace on the green tea flavor. These were light, crispy and a little sweet with the sugar on top. I loved the subtle flavor and lightness of these crackers.
