Dollar Shave Club

You guys know I am always looking for new and exciting subscription boxes and I found a pretty awesome one recently! Dollar Shave Club is a monthly subscription box that sends razors (and more) right to your door! There is no more running out of razors, or having to spend a small fortune on them! Honestly, these are some awesome prices and can save anyone a little money, if not a lot!

There are three razors to choose from. For $1 a month plus shipping, you can get 5, 2-blade cartridges; $6 with free shipping gets you 4, 4-blade cartridges; and $9 with free shipping gets you 4, 6-blade cartridges. Plus, the handle is always free and comes in your first box or any box after you up or down grade your razor. I received the Lover's Blade which has 4 blades and a pretty nice handle with a decent weight and feel to it. The razors themselves are actually really good too. I was worried that for so little money, the razors might be dull or irritating, but that was not the case! They work just as well as the expensive ones I have been using for years!

As well as razors, Dollar Shave Club also offers a few other products. One of which is Dr. Carver's Easy Shave Butter that is $8 for a 6 oz tube. Since my husband has sensitive skin on his face and is prone to razor burn and ingrown hairs, I let him try this. He is absolutely addicted and loves it. Since it is transparent, this allows him to see the skin and hair underneath, making shaving easier. It also contains a bunch of ingredients to help sooth his sensitive skin!

For after shaving, they offer Dr. Carver's Magnanimous Post Shave Daily All-in-One Moisturizer ($9 for a 3.4 oz bottle). Now since my husband is pretty low maintenance, he was a little put off by the idea of a moisturizer. He was worried it would leave his face greasy like a lotion might. He is pleased to report that this isn't sticky or greasy but actually quite soothing. He said that it helped his face feel softer and smoother after shaving and not irritated at all.

The last product they offer are the One Wipe Charlies ($4 for 40 wipes). One Wipe Charlies are flushable, butt-wipes for men! They are biodegradable, soothing, and have a peppermint scent. Since my husband's name is Charles, he obviously got a kick out of these. Now, I don't want to get too deep into these or my husband's bathroom habits, but he saying he likes them and they make him feel cleaner after doing his deed.

My husband and I really enjoyed our box from Dollar Shave Club and will definitely be subscribing for future boxes! How can you not love razors at that price!
