50 Fabulous Crochet Bobbles, Popcorns and Puffs

Hello crafters! I’m so happy to get the chance each week to stop in and chat about my new favorite hobby: yarn art! Let's continue talking about building your crochet stitch library. My favorite craft book site, Leisure Arts, has so many awesome stitch guides to pick from and this week we are going to look at one for making fun bobbles and textured stitches.

50 Fabulous Crochet Bobbles, Popcorns and Puffs will give you all the stitches you need to make some breathtaking designs with depth and texture. As with the other books the instructions are clear and so very easy to follow.  One fantastic thing about this books is that they chain multiple instructions at the very beginning of each stitch pattern so you can easily customize the stitch to any size project.

Also, since the multiples are so easy to see, you can tell which ones you can combine in the same project to make truly one of a kind pieces. Having that kind of flexibility, you can also use these with any yarn weight too! A book like this that gives you such easy instructions and chain multiples makes anyone an instant designer.

I have started some fabulous squares for a bedspread for my mom. I just love the way the puff stitches have add dimension to the project. It takes this single color design and makes it something really stunning. I have loved working with these stitches so much. In addition to blankets, you can use the awesome stitch on all your projects from hats to jackets. I also want to use the bobbles to make afghan borders really stand out.

What do you think you would design with a great resource like this? No matter what type of craft or pattern you are looking for, take some time to browse Leisure Arts' great selection and make sure you also connect with Leisure Arts on Facebook and Twitter so that you never miss a special or new pattern! Also, if you sign up for their knitting or crochet newsletters, you get a free pattern on Fridays!

Please come back next week to see another awesome book that every creative crocheter needs in their stitch library.

Disclosure: I may receive products in exchange for an honest review. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I personally believe will be good for my readers.
