Loot Crate - July 2014

It's that special geeky time of the month again where looters everywhere stalk their mailbox in anticipation. For any newcomers or generally forgetful people, Loot Crate is quite possibly the most awesome subscription box out there. For only $13.37 (Get it? Haha!) a month, you can get one of these epic boxes for yourself. Let's dive in!

This month, the theme is Villains. You know, those characters that we love to hate and that give our favorite hero a purpose. The first item I grabbed for the was Joki t-shirt. Combining the Joker and Loki is not only genius, but completely twisted. On their own, they are their own special kinds of chaotic and crazy, but combined, you have a villain worthy of even the best hero. Staying with the Joker theme, the Joker and Harley Quinn posters included are absolutely stunning. They are beautifully crafted and I know a special Batman fan that will love adding these to his collection!

Up next is something pretty awesome. This Rocket Raccoon comic book is hilariously awesome and a Loot Crate exclusive! The artwork is absolutely stunning and vibrant. Plus, the story contained within is pretty cool as well. Skottie Young is the talent behind the awesome art inside and Dale Keown really did a great job on the cover! This gets me really excited for the Guardians of the Galaxy movie!

Of course, no villain box could be complete without Deadpool socks and a Darth Vader key chain. The Deadpool socks are super comfy and will make sure I look awesome while enjoying sometime with one of the best anti-heroes out there. Now being a huge Star Wars fan, I might be a little biased, but I think this Darth Vader key chain is the best item in the box. Being one of my personal favorite villains, I'm glad I can carry him around with me on the daily!

Bowser, oh Bowser, how I love to hate you Bowser. As I child I remember shaking my fist angrily at the television many times over this villain. Now, having conquered him, I can appreciate this propaganda and he has a special place on my refrigerator. The Necessary Evil DVD narrated by Christopher Lee is pretty awesome. Taking you through the history of the villains of the DC universe, this DVD definitely warrants a watch. And of course, last but certainly not least, we have our Loot Crate pin covered in awesome villains!

Loot Crate, as usual, was awesome this month! I know you are dying to have your own Loot Crates coming to your door so remember: All you have to do is sign up and for $13.37 you can have your very own. Sign up today though because boxes are limited and with stuff this epic, demand is high.

You can also stay up to date with fun extras and specials by following Loot Crate on Facebook and Twitter.

Disclosure: I may receive products in exchange for an honest review. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I personally believe will be good for my readers.

  1. I am going to have to show this to my nephew and have him get a box of these awesome items. He likes wearing t-shirts with cool characters on them. This box has fun items.
